marc mcnulty mark 2 for me, obviously has ability but a little bit of a nothing player. will score goals in lge 2 regularly and pop up with a few in league one, has always given his all but the way we are moving forward he just doesn't have enough about him for me

Good cause he’s horrific. Similar to Done, work rate yes but no end product

Certainly got an end product with that Pass, Pass, Pass goal at Swindon last season.
(If that had been Man City we would have had Lineker et al showing it every bloody weekend)

And how pleasing to see Done with an end product at Port Vale last season.

I still don't feel like we've ever seen enough of him in the side to have strong opinions. Injuries have meant we've had to bring players in that have moved him further and further down the ranks. It's come to the point where he's so far down the pecking order he ought to be moved on for the good of both parties.

Not the same kind of player in my view.

I think Lavery always looks a pain to mark and a threat, he just doesn't score enough goals. He's a good foil for Sharp but if you're looking for him to score you 18-20 a season you'll be disappointed, which is why he'll probably have quite a few clubs.

I'd be pleasantly surprised if he gets a goal every two games for Rovrum, just doesn't score enough to be you're main striker. McNulty on other hand could look anonymous in lots of games and looked no threat when he wasn't scoring, but did have more of a finisher's instincts.

Wilder's interview made him sound pretty skeptical about Lavery, Carruthers, or Thomas having any future at the club. Didn't rule it out, but suggested the main benefits of the loans would be to bump up their values prior to summer transfers.

We already knew that about Lavery and Carruthers, but it confirms that Thomas just hasn't done enough in training to earn a place in the squad.

Interesting about Nathan Thomas. Surprises me, and feel like he hasn't really had a fair crack, but Wilder obviously sees something (or doesn't) and history has shown that he's not scared to acknowledge bad signings pretty swiftly and move on. Just look at Hussey.
