Rovrum on loan according to Radio Pig last night when questioning CW.

Got no issues with this. He needs to play games to create a value for himself and the club.

He goes there scores a few goals we can recoup the money paid for him.

It seems quite brutal, but to be totally honest we might as well sell him. And I'm someone who likes him and really wanted him to do well.

We've progressed at such a rate now that realistically there's probably no future for him here, no matter how he performs on loan.

And selling him now would possibly get us a bigger fee, with more time left on his contract. Leave it until the summer and he'll only have a year left.

Clubs in the ascendancy have to keep raising the bar in terms of player quality. Nothing personal and CL will probably make it with another club like Rovrum.

Good move all round.

6th choice here and if we are being honest Just not quite championship standard. Imo he’s a solid 6/10 player but one without any one outstanding attribute (pace, height, skill, finishing or strength for example) to make up for his limitations and force his way in.

Hopefully with the way Rotherham play he’ll get goals on the second half of the season and we’ll get a fee for him in the summer.

According to CW on the radio, Samir Carruthers and Nathan Thomas going on loan too.

Wilder's interview made him sound pretty skeptical about Lavery, Carruthers, or Thomas having any future at the club. Didn't rule it out, but suggested the main benefits of the loans would be to bump up their values prior to summer transfers.

We already knew that about Lavery and Carruthers, but it confirms that Thomas just hasn't done enough in training to earn a place in the squad.
