Taken from @Experimental361, this shows how many times we've fielded unchanged lineups game-to-game, and the average number of changes per game. Interesting to see we're actually one of the most consistent teams in the league in terms of the number of changes we make per game. I thought we'd be much higher up this table given all the injuries we've had.

Thought it was also noteworthy that, Millwall, Hull, Norwich and arguably Burton aside, there's a pretty strong correlation between league position and least number of changes per match. Consistency breeds success, or success breeds consistency...? :)

I'd say success breeds consistency. Don't want to change a winning side and all that... Would be interesting to see the data for Newcastle last year, seen as Rafa loves squad rotation

Table near a mirror image of the league table. Consistency

Wolves.bristol city. Villa. Derby. Least cha nges lower positioned teams like Sunderland Barnsley Wendy.birmingham most changes. Interesting point my trust is in c.w.no doubt with new signings we will move up that table

Remember that having a consistent line-up was a big feature of Clough snr's Forest side.

Good post and agree with the point completely, but looking at our recent window signings we may well go up several places in this experimental league... let’s hope, however, it doesn’t affect our true league position!

But Wendy are still miles better than us, and it's true cos the Wendy's say so...................hahahahahahahahaha.

Chicken and egg isnt it?

There yer go VB. However I fail to see the relevance.
Maybe a new 'Recipe' section is called for........

The latter, I’d guess.

Forget stats / forget league position / forget goal scored.

We want wholesalw changes and a boring 442 with Leonard right wing and Duffy up top.

That was my favourite new formation / style I have seen :)

Why's everyone quoting Queen Bitch?
