1st Wolves
2nd Derby
3rd Villa
4th Brizzle
5th Fulham
6th BLADES
7th Preston
8th Cardiff
9th Brentford
10th Boro

I'd take that all day, it's pretty much the same as I'd pick but we ain't finishing below Bristol.

So hard to predict this league. Suddenly Brizzle are as out of sorts as we are, Cardiff also despite a recent win. Villa now getting it together; Fulham and Brentford coming good and closing in on top 6; Leeds & Boro inconsistent.....Only Wolves have been immune to any sort of dip so far and Derby seem ridiculously consistent now.

I am hopeful that our new signings can give us a jolt and haven't completely given up on 2nd yet, although we would probably need to win 4 from our next 5 to have any hope of reeling Derby back in, based on their form. If we can't then we still have just as much chance of cementing top 6 as anyone around us.

I'll go with this:

1) Wolves
2) Derby
3) Villa
4) Fulham
5) Blades
6) Cardiff
7) Boro
8) Bristol City
9) Leeds
10) Brentford

1. Wolves

3. Villa
4. Fulham
5. Us
6. Cardiff
7. Bristols Titty
8. Boro
9. Brentford
10. Leeds

On,y the top 2 matter, Pigs will get a free pass into the PL this season and the play offs will be cancelled on the back of them snatching 2 points off us this season and being the defacto biggest following in the world

Wolves will win the League. Comfortably.

Anything else I find impossible to predict. As for us it all depends on how The new signings settle in and how we perform in this tough looking run of games, one thing is for sure we need to start winning games again as soon as possible.

Good call Pickster, not sure about No 9 (and where's the "Dripping").
I'll go my current top ten Bowie albums.

1. Station to Station
2. Hunky Dory
3. Diamond Dogs
4. Aladdin Sane
5. The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars
6. Heroes
7. Stage
8. Outside
9. Low
10. David Live

This is for January, tends to change by the week.

Fairly subjective but would move Diamond Dogs and Ziggy to 1= followed by Station o Station @ 3 the rest (and others) at 4=

Good Point.

Dripping and salt a new entry at 7 - Sardines down 1 out of the hit parade. Controversially Marmalade doesn't make the top 40 at Pickster Towers.

And Ernie Hunt revealed in the Sunday papers in the 1980s that Coventry bribed Southampton players not to beat them in the last match of the 1967/68 season

Clarke to get sent down with 4 games left us being 12 points clear of Owls in 7th who eventually pass us on the last day on goal difference. They go on to get promoted via Playoffs with Jordan Rhodes scoring the winning penalty at Wembley.

It's the Blades way.

I'd probably put the '81 relegation & wolves debacle higher than '07 and '94 and lump '12 in as one big single shit sandwich and put that in at 3. I'm still personally effected by wolves & '12 now. Just thinking about them quickens my pulse rate.

It's all a matter of opinion isn't it. I'd put 2007 and 1994 at the top because we were effectively dumped on by others cheating or certainly not acting in the spirit of the game.

1981 and the Wolves game was just us being shit. I actually think that in hindsight the 1981 relegation did us a favour as maybe Peters would have stayed, Edwards wouldn't have returned and the general decline would have been strung out even longer.

Having posted the post, I was thinking the same about '81, at the time it seemed like the abyss, but in hindsight it was probably a step back to go two forward.

The two premiership relegation's have been timed perfectly to miss the next big tv deal renegotiation & money injection.

Precisely, well and truly dry bummed both times.

As an aside, after how many play offs we have been in and (always)? Been the favourite how absolutely brilliant would it be to go into the this seasons play off as the probable outsiders, I say this mainly on where were expecting to be at the start of the season, imagine watching Wilder and knills team at Wembley?
