We're all thick, just some are thicker than others. I've yet to meet anyone who can truthfully say they've never done anything stupid or never made a bad decision. Success increases confidence and many people become rich from high risk behaviours, which has panned out for them, so they just keep doing it until their luck runs out. It's not so much stupidity as human nature.

Thats very true. To coin a phrase from the film Any Given Sunday, I've made every wrong choice a guy my age can make.

Blackburn, Charlton, Portsmouth and Blackpool are now near or near enough where they should be. A wealthy benefactor or right coach at the right club at the right time only delay the inevitable.

I would put Hull in the category of on their way back to their natural position after 2 lucky breaks away from the bottom two divisions.

I've never understood why the Wales job is full time. Mostly a few meaningless friendlies (which Alan Shearer claimed Giggs never turned up for when Giggs was a player), meet the players (those who turn up) around once a month etc. Something a non-PL manager could easily do as well as his day job.
