After many delayed starts and unforseen circumstances, the HMS P*ss The League is ready to set sail to the Premier League again...

Well that's if you are to believe the ridiculously imaginative, blinkered, blockheads from S6. (Some conversations i've had with Wendy pals today, wow)

Can someone please tell me how holding out for a 0-0 (full credit to them for executing their game plan to perfection) at your so called 'inferior' neighbours results in them ready to storm the league next season?

*Also funny to add how they have no idea how close to FFP they are and with ageing players on huge and lengthy contracts, well....

Keep the pub league players coming Chris, we're moving on alright.

Someone on Porktalk has suggested wages in 16/17 were £25M. Their accounts are due in February. If that is the case they will have lost between £15M and £25M. That’s before Rhodes’s wages this season! They have to be close to the limit.

Good luck adjusting their wage bill next season but they’ll have all those turgid 0-0s to celebrate.

The one advantage they have is the foreign players will be easier to move on to other leagues. Much larger pool of clubs to sell to

DVDs of the game will be available from their club shop from Wednesday

They're already selling "The best draw in history" T-shirts outside the market on the Moor from a cart sponsored by D-taxis

We've all forgotten one thing!!. They still think they're massive and therefore have a divine right to march straight to the premier league and be European champions in 2020!!. A pig mate texted me this morning and said they have a bigger fan base than both Merseyside clubs. DELUDED TO THE LAST. UTB

Mañana, always mañana with those cunts. Remember 'Europe in 5 years?' They never said which five years. :D

Didn’t McCabe once say “Europe in 5 years”?

Don’t chairman and owners ever learn?

They'll have a few games where the effect of having a new manager will lift them, then they'll slip back into old ways. They'll stay up but they won't threaten the play off positions.

And yet it seems they can't get more people through the turnstiles than their tiny little neighbours.

More fool you for allowing them to get to you

how do ya measure a fan base? who does it? and who the fuck pays for it?
what tools do they use?

Well they prob have enough to survive a relegation fight,
Sure their truffle hunting fans will relish the free flowing attacking football !!

What they fail to understand is the league they will be storming is League One.

To continue the nautical analogy, I'm afraid that ship sailed a long time ago.

100/1 to go up:rolleyes:

Meh, they were better than Barnsley, Sunderland, Hull, Reading, Ipswich.

Wouldn't surprise me if they improve from here. But I have no idea if they could won a game against another defensive team. Them v Bolton could end in a minus score

If yesterday represented their new style, combined with the new manager bounce, plus the pressure of the derby and the previous score against us, then I'm not sure the rest of the season won't be very uncomfortable for them. We were not at our best and are on a poor run at the moment, and they still only scraped a draw.
