Yes, I imagine most people keen enough that they'll pay £98 for tickets will have got theirs before now.

There are about 14k of them altogether, but don't know if they were all split between us and Burnley or if debenture holders etc have kept some of them.

Don't know if we'll sell another 2k at that price, it's a lot of money and on principle you'd be feeling ripped off even if you can afford it.

Burnley are not being allocated any of the Club Wembley (£98) tickets. I think Burnley's GDP only comes to about £94.50 anyway.

Say again mate :hello:
Only didn't sell out because there wasn;t enough time to remain open, people were still queuing at the end of night, phones and faxes were switched off too.

Rumoured on inferior message boards to this that we're down to the last thousand or so.

Haha! You're probably not far wrong.

Does it matter?

Yes it does, cause he was acting like a gimp on this thread.

Thinking he was special cause he'd got a ticket.

Think of those who queued up and had the door shut in there face. Or you spent 6 hours trying to get thru to the box office.

I got my ticket reasonably easy last week and wouldnt dream about rubbing it in the face my fellow blades that were not so fortunate.

Precisely. They hadn't sold them all by 9pm, like you said you would. 3000 left this morning.

Everyone can be an arse sometimes, end of.
No one can be right 100% of the time, it'd be boring if they were.

I suppose your right.

Give Robbie a pat on the back. Should be too hard for you, as you seem to be hanging out the back of him :kissass:

Lets not get out of hand with name calling, if you feel it is out of order what someone has put give them -rep or if it is breaking the forum rules, report the most.

To be fair, on the other side of the coin you could say if they'd been to enough matches over the last 3 season in the first place they wouldn't have this problem.

iv no sympathy for people who havent got a ticket, plain and simple you go to games you get points you will get a ticket, if you only go to 1 game a season or so and they are the big one/s why should you have a devine right to a ticket for wembley? Especially if you spend all day waiting on the phone lines, why not get down the lane very early and wait in the dark wet and cold for your ticket if your that much of a dedicted fan!

Hmmm very grown up.
Does it really matter to you that much that he made a joke thread?
Are you personally injured mentally by it?
If so you are very easily upset.

Just cos I see it as a joke and you see it as an insult to yourself and other blades doesn't mean i'm kissing Robbies ass btw.

1. I go to every sheff united game i can, im 17. im THE biggest sheff united fan in my year at school (y12). All my mates are wednesday fans and i always chat shit to them because i know were better. Anyhow i hardly have any money! When i do i need it for essentials for school, said ive still managed to get to 13 games this season home and away.

Your judgement is very unfair.

2. Because i do not have a seasons ticket how am i supposed to generate points? So i clearly have to wait for the general sale. Anyhow both monday morning and monday afternoon and this morning i have had AS level exams, i have another tommoroe morning and afternoon. Making it impossible for me to get a ticket as NONE of my closest friends support sheff united and other mates just general say they support them and hardly ever go to matches....

So all in all just watch how you say things as there generally untrue and i would give anything to be at wembley to watch the might blades but i can't, and i've had so much stick of my mates for this it's untrue.

Miss the exams this could be the last time blades get to wembley.

If you aint got no money get a job im 16 and i've got one to fund away days etc. so it aint really an excuse mate.

Your post has valid points, but loyalty points are awarded to match attendees not just season ticket holders.
From my point of view i was more than covered, but a friend of mine, a member of the 92 club, a regular home and away supporter a season ticket holders for all but the last 3 seasons due to business commitments has found himself waiting for general sale. Has he complained ? not a word. He accepts as when he was a regular loyalty should be rewarded.

Sensiblade but its the same situation for other away games throughout the season

It's the same for us all.
Money = Tickets for matches.
I have a full time job but find myself in a situation where paying my bills comes before paying for tickets, thus ebay is funding my trip to Wembley.
If ebay didn't exist or I didn't have anything to sell then I wouldn't be going, even though I have a job.
Everyone situation is different.

I'm sad for anyone who can't make it for whatever reason, but everyones reasons are valid to them even if they aren't to others.

Tickets are never in my name though :D otherwise i can't think of another way i have points?

Thousands of blades hardly have any money, its all about doing what you need too to make sure you get that ticket, eg get a job, work overtime, hell if it came to it id go round everyone's house offering to wash their cars to build that money needed!

as for finding time to get a ticket (i apologise in advance if you have done this) but why not post on the forum or other forums for people that are going to get tickets to get you one aswell?

You make valid points yes il give you that, certain circumstances do make things difficult but i still stand by what i said, if you really wanted that ticket you would find a way to get one!

Get whoever buys tickets for you to register them in your name. You can't get more than one set of points for a game when you buy multiple tickets, so they may as well give your details so you can start building up points.

Too late for this time around, but nag them to do it any time in future you get a ticket.

I had money for a ticket but the coach prices just killed me, i asked around for lifts and everywhere was full. Came at a very very bad time for me :(
