Blades in the car park now ............... join the que !

I take my hat of to em.

got to give it to em well done blades

I know for some people this isn't the case (Hallam Blade fr'instance)... but the reason a lot of people will be queuing up is because they haven't been to a game all season and so didn't qualify for tickets before general sale.

Fair enough, they're willing to stay out all night... but real dedication is going to matches ;)

Says Linz... who has done her fair share of sleeping rough in the car park!

I really feel sorry for anybody that has enough points but still has to stand out all night so they can just sit with somebody that has'nt.
Four hours yesterday was bad enough.

I like how our ticket sales just coincide with the worst spell of weather we've had in a couple of months too!

Just over 10k tickets remaining.

£74 category has only single seats remaining and £50 category is limited.

9 per customer number.

Championship Play Off Final
Monday 25th May 2009, Kick Off 3.00pm

The Blades have just over 10,000 tickets going on general sale from 8am Monday morning.

Only single seats remain in the £74 price bracket and tickets in the £50 area are limited. All other price brackets are available with seats together.

Supporters will be able to purchase up to 9 tickets per customer number.

The Ticket Office will be open from 8am until 9pm tomorrow and an announcement will be made on sufc.co.uk on Monday evening as to ticket availability and opening times for the rest of the week.

All ticket sales are subject to availability.

Supporters can purchase tickets in person, over the telephone on 0871 995 1889, by fax on 0871 663 2431 or by submitting a postal application.

I'm just awaiting the backlash of moans about them requiring a customer number per 9 tickets :D

my mate is there now waitin till tomorrow for ticket.... the que is oready to the top of the carpark

It was on Shoreham Street as of 23:30! I'm betting a full lap of the lane by 8am :D

while its good some people are that committed. Its a shame some of those people dont show their commitment on a more regular basis.

I dont sympathize with them because many of them there didn't have to endure the truely painful football we played under Robson and all the other poor performances over the last few years.

Given the choice of being there now or having a season ticket to watch United play toothless football for 6 months while that idiot was in charge I actually think many of those there tonight have got off lightly.

Thinking about it, queueing all night to get Wembley tickets is a doddle compared to leaving Hillsborough having watched my team lose 2-0 to a distinctly average Wednesday team.

You're being amazingly complimentary to Day Before Thursday.

I've slept rough a few times in the carpark now.

I did it in 1993 for the Wembley Semi, 1998 for Old Trafford and then again in 2006 to get a Luton away ticket.

Its a good laugh until it gets to about 6am and it starts getting light, you start getting tired and all you want to do is go home, and go to bed

The well thought out ticket system, seems to have worked well, to the ones out there tonight good luck and wrap up warm. To the 1500 chancers who got a membership card after the Preston match, hard luck you needed 1000 loyalty points to go with that card.

To the club thank you, for extended opening hours and a fair distribution policy. A small number of moaners shall always complain. But the thousands in the majority seem more than happy.

Couldn't have put it better myself.......

Message from Tony.

As of 06:30 this morning, the queue was out of the car park, down Cherry Street, along Shoreham Street and the end was somewhere on John Street.

That is unreal. Well at least all the doubters on BU saying, 'we'll never sell out', may have to eat their words, looks like we're definitely gonna sell out.

Soton's Prediction - Only a few singles left as of Tuesday Morning.

The roving reporter on RS reckons that not everyone in the queue is going to get a ticket.

When you take into account all the people at the Lane, the phone queue and postal applications... I don't think we're going to have many left.

Much more civilised than at Burnley, where someone queued from 09:30 in the morning until 23:00 at night and didn't get a ticket!

here yer go ..............

hang on a mo......

there......................

Haha...

I know two of the fag waving young gentlemen in the first picture :D

Don't know why they're bothering, we'll have thousands of unsold seats. Lendegoey said so. ;)

Just got in, the queue was onto Bramall Lane by time Box Office opened. Was quite a good night actually. I was sat next to a wannabe Noel Gallagher like, but it added to the experience :D
You was sat next to me? Only kidding.....

I've gotta take my hat off to the people queuing from Bramall Lane, even if they haven't been to a game for ages.
