If you're one of the lucky football fans to get a ticket for the Steel City derby on Friday then you're sure to be in for a treat.

Friday's clash with fierce rivals Sheffield United will be the first one to be staged at Hillsborough for six years and now carries extra importance.

Wednesday will be looking to get revenge after United's 4-2 win at Bramall Lane back in September and the match will also be Jos Luhukay's first in charge of the Owls.

Unusually, the match will kick off on Friday at 7.45pm so, where can you go and get a pre-match pint beforehand?

Here, we've rounded up some of our favourite pubs close to Hillsborough to get you in the mood for the match.

Well he wouldn't be the first journalist at that shitrag to get Bramall Lane and The Deathrap mixed up would he?

Nothing we haven't known for decades mate.

The paranoia about media outlets being biased against us sometimes gets to ridiculous point by some of our fans, but in this instance there's been several reasons to believe so.

I've wondered for a while if it's not a little game with some of them. They know how a proportion of our fans feel and I sometimes think they wind up slightly and sit back and laugh at the reaction.

Put it this way, if not, it's just piss poor village journalism.

I’m with you on this up until the last few years I’ve always knew that rag had a pig bias but I thought some of our fans took it to heart a little bit too much but in the last few years it’s stepped up a few too many notches for me, Either way the stir will be out of business in a few years

The match could be in doubt anyway judging by the state of our pitch:-

Haven't they got any post-Desso photos?

Looks like Danny04 has given Darren "Berk" Burke a heads up because he seems to have actually done some research for a change. However, "what's the weather hold for Fridays game" answer , "it'll be cold because its January" isn't really man bites dog.

It's a good job these people don't get paid.....

Don't forget his sidekick, the equally odious pig Liam Hoden.

Nothing gets signed off without the Donny Mafias blessing.

Edited now. No mention of the Derby or Sheffield United.

Honestly, what’s the fucking point. Just remove the drivel.

Regardless of the accuracy of the article I must say that is a cracking pub. I'm in there quite a bit having to live in S6.

P.S Does this mean the 2-4 didn't happen?????

This is useful though for people who don’t know arses from elbows or have trouble putting one foot in front of the other. If ever there was a group of people needing help on finding BDTBL, it will be 28k United fans and 2k Pigs.

But on a serious note, there’s no mention of the Tunnel.

I'd say the fact that so many Blades know what a Primark hanger looks like is more worrying than the fact that they used one.

"At the mini roundabout, turn right for the ground".

Just in case you can't see a large structure, with "Sheffield United" on it and lots of people milling around.

Undoubtedly, got old Josser’s surname wrong in the title and wrong in the first line and managed to spell it differently each time - genius.

Horrendous. Does no one check anything before it goes to print. I don't necessarily buy into all the bias. I just don't buy the Star because of the poor content and inaccuracies such as this. It's truly appalling.

Brilliant :) Including under the photo.

You'd think after "Assett" appeared in big bold letters last week, one of the /management would have told the hacks to up their game.

Probably a busy week for sellling second hand chest freezers though......

The appeals already been lodged with the FA by Chansiri - new manager now and 'upsetting the fans' - you know, the usual reasons
