i worry this leonard signing is going to be a disappointment as good as he sounds, because of this signing has dragged on for so long we have had 188 pages over nearly 8 months .

although saying that I cant remember a January where we have badly needed the transfer window just to get bodies in & get some strength in depth, so to have 2 midfielders in for 700k, is good business so far

Hope the rumours are true

We could do with some physically and pace in the middle at times, seems like a basham type player but without moving him from the defence.

Hopefully he can also play abit because that’s how you win games at this level. I Don’t expect him to be a starter straight away but he’s certainly going to be an option from the bench if we need to close out games.

Type of player we should be signing imo. Decent age, won their player of the year numerous types and will want to prove he can do it at the next level.

Lundstram certainly does not prefer to play in more advanced positions - at Oxford he played a deep-lying, string-pulling type role, very similar to where he's played since getting regular starts for Utd (with the exception of the Bolton game in which he dropped even further into the back line and right side).
