Leigh Bromby - New gaffer at Huddersfield Academy.

Always nice to see an ex-blade doing something post football I suppose.

So the former team mates (Geary v Bromby) will go up against eachother at Shirecliffe in March.

Should we go and ask Bromby about that Joe Lolley lad? He's banged a few away for the reserves this season....That said, they've played him in the first team a few times in the PL, so maybe the chance has slipped by.

I thought they'd closed their academy? There was a big fuss about it earlier in the season.

This might be a stupid question... but how do they properly sustain an U18-U23's team other than them being fed from the younger groups coming through?
Obviously a few might sign and a few older players might play with the U23's, but it seems a lot of numbers to make up?

Scoop up the best of the ones discarded from PL academies, it's cheaper and if they do it right it'll be more effective.
