I'm afraid the source is no other than Facebook.

But multiple people saying that Wilder has recalled the two players back to the club? Ok Whiteman has hit a little bit of form for Doncaster but even still, their fans state that he is very hit and miss....Never the less I can understand him being brought back and given a chance to shine.

Jake Eastwood though *scratches head*.

Eastwood was only an emergency loan and I believe that period has finished. Whiteman makes sense to me. Cover for midfield. Saves moving Bash there.

Remember EEL going back to Wolves for a week last Jan. That was just for pre-arranged catch up. Maybe we’re having Whiteman back for a couple of days for the same thing? Not like he’s far to travel.

You've answered your own question really, source was Facebook and as for multiple sources I remember suggesting Jon Stead would be a good call to get back in when we were short of strikers only for it to come back about a month later as a multiple source rumour.

Whiteman played in the second round of the FA Cup for Donny against Scunthorpe

Whiteman coming back is an indication Wilder has been given a couple of beans to work with in the transfer market.
Worrying times.

Yeah usually take it with a pinch of salt bud. Just thought it might have a tad in it, what with it coming from a few directions.

Absolute and utter nonsense. It’s not even remotely worrying that we should take a look at how far one of our own kids is progressing.

Maybe he is going on loan somewhere else to help smooth over another deal. Fleetwood? He is from Rochdale so he might not object

Why not make an offer to Southend? They can either keep Leonard till May and he leaves on a free in the summer, or they get some cash now for Leonard and in Whiteman someone that could slot into their midfield for the rest of the season.

Surely it makes complete sense for Whiteman to come back in, have a chat about how the loan is going and be assessed by the medical team? Also, to do a day of training with the squad to see where he is.

Is Blackman on a season long or JTW long loan? He along with CCV might get recalled even as AgaMonkey says to check them over

Fleetwood have Cairns. He's a decent keeper, couldn't see Eastwood getting in ahead of him there so doubtful.

Well it seems that either Eastwood didn't impress at Chesterfield or Wilder has alternate plans for him. Chesterfield are now in for old Blade Ramsdale from Bournemouth on loan until the end of the season.

Ramsdale is currently a better more experienced keeper, in their position I would do the same.
Would not be too disappointed if we sent Blackman back and had Eastwood as back up.
Blackman wages could go to fund another loan.

Checked by the medical team? I know Donny's a bit rough but what do you think he might have caught?

Staying at Donny. He'd be coming back to United :)
