Obviously aimed at successive boardrooms at S2, having read today's programme another nugget (Brian Clough) to add to a very long list (I'm sure all the usual club apologists will be along shortly spouting their usual excuses / bile). So here goes:-

Building a sustainable functioning football club, centred on the supporters, creating a young and loyal fan base through proactive schemes, creating a harmonious atmosphere run by blades with an excellent ground in a great location, minimal debt and a prosperous future. Oh....,

Not sacking that Warnock straight after promotion.

Not ending Che Adams career with a well directed tibia-buster. Jug-Eared Cunt

Not fucking Brian Cloughs son off after one season.

And right on queue here's the first c*** !

The word is ‘cunt’. I make pricks like you stand to attention.

You are one of the least sophisticated, most parochial, dinosaurs on the forum. You have an agenda and pursue it vigorously but without intelligence, because you are not particularly bright. I see you coming.

I'll get slaughtered for this (but welcome a polite debate should one want it) but I think the sacking of Kevin Blackwell two games into the season has to be up there, I'm convinced we would have never got relegated with him in charge.

Another dumb decision was going for Evans then backing out in 2014, I didn't want him back because knew there would be uproar (why didn't they?) but if you take the first step you should see it through we looked like idiots. Oh and who thought it appropriate to sanction the significance of Marlon King?

You've used the first line on several occasions. A sure sign of low intelligence.

You're also the last one who should be mentioning agendas.

Pitiful individual.

Selling Deano/Fjortoft was a shock to the system. I think a lot of those on your list are difficult because they make big assumptions, like the idea that appointing a certain manager would mean we had the exact same success that he had at a different club - or any success. Same with players really. You can say, however, that selling players who were key in a successful team were the reason for failure if that failure immediately followed.

It wasn’t two games. We lost 2-0 to Mighty Hartlepool in the League Cup, without a single shot at goal.

The only mistake we made was not sacking the useless Hoofy fucker on the pitch at half-time, then tarring and feathering the former semi-professional, non-league, reserve, shortarse goalie.

Is being a cunt something that comes natural to you, or do you have to practice it, either way you'e got it off to a T :)

Natural ability enhanced by a bit of professional coaching. My geography is okay, too. I’ve actually ventured into the real world beyond the end of Shoreham Street.

I think the mistake was not getting rid after the play off final defeat.

Allowing him to carry on and then sacking him when we did made no sense at all.

Two league games I meant but fair enough for mentioning that, though it was a weakened team so these things can happen
https://www.11v11.com/matches/hartlepool-united-v-sheffield-united-11-august-2010-290101/ (goodness knows where Kingsley James and Jordan Chapell are now though good to give youth a chance)

Don't see how his former career has any relevance to the debate, he certainly had more credentials in that respect than Mourinho had.

At the end of it the lowest we finished was 8th under him, started the season with a very creditable 1-1 draw at Cardiff with 10 men (where Lowton was given his debut) before being thrashed by eventual champions QPR who pretty much destroyed every team.

The fans then chant for him to go and McCabe obliges and the exodus in league one began. Ridiculous.

But not quite as ridiculous as the way the board handled the Evans saga. Regardless of your viewpoint (for/against Evans etc) they did something quite amazing in uniting both camps in having utter disgust at the incompetence of our board with how they managed it. Worst publicity the club has ever had in its history.

Yes, my second paragraph was aimed at the Wembley game. Half-time, though, not after,

Personally, though, I can’t think of any time when sacking Semi-Pro wouldn’t make sense. I’d like to see him fired every day at 9 a.m. prompt.

I chanted for him to go. I phoned RS night after night. I actually, for the only time in my Bladelife, wanted us to lose games, to hasten his departure. The crass buffoon was in the process of destroying our club with his grotesque anti-football. That’s why he had to go, and not a second too soon.

We might have headed to league one after Robson if not for Blackwell coming in the way our form was going. We then went on one of the best run's in our history nearly snatching the final play off place (and indeed were there for 15 minutes of the final day of the season).

As for Wembley sadly I was there to witness it and it was atrocious, however as a manager you can't legislate against a screamer and Jamie Ward being an absolute *** and getting himself sent off for handball. We forget that Burnley were a good outfit as well and it was a tough league to get out of.

Yes, but after allowing him the whole summer and all of our transfer budget and then giving him just 2 league games and one cup game was (IMHO) not one of our better decisions.

... but then always feel obliged to reply to most of my posts ... I suppose I should feel honoured being, quote, one of the "least sophisticated, most parochial, dinosaurs on the forum. You have an agenda and pursue it vigorously but without intelligence, because you are not particularly bright. "

For the record the only agenda I have is for what's best for SUFC but I suppose that's a bit too parochial for those that venture into the real world beyond Shoreham Street

I think oldblade has got this spot on. Regardless of your viewpoint on Blackwell it was very stupid to make all your summer plans pre-season signings etc then sack him after two league games. It was a rash decision and whilst I'll always have respect for Speed RIP giving him that much responsibility in such a situation was never going to work out but no-one fans included really thought it out. What were the board thinking?!

In fairness, we gave him no money whatsoever.

That said he was woeful and definitely should’ve gone a season earlier.

What you have to remember is that pinchy lives in the real world beyond Shoreham Street so he knows best.

IMO Blackwell should have been relieved of his managerial duties at the Lane at the end of the 09/10 season, and be replaced by Gary Speed, giving him the whole summer to introduce his ideas to the squad and bring in the players he wanted, instead of the farce we got in 10/11.

Apparently Speed, Adams, Brians lad and Weir were great by comparison...

I'm dealing with some football illiterates here...

My job on here is to disclose uncomfortable truths and debunk parochial S2/S13 garbage. Many of your contributions feature patent Bladey Claptrap and I have a duty to point it out, lest you think it has the slightest validity by virtue of it going un-mentioned.
