How many yellows has he had now?

Surely he's close to a suspension? Keeps getting yellows for being too good and it's adding up

Think it’s 4.
Been booked the last 3 games I believe.
But on a positive, they have until 30th nov. To avoid the 5 bookings and obligatory suspension.

Question.
If someone gets 2 yellows and then a red, they get a 1 game suspension.
Do those 2 yellows then count towards the 5? Or do they not count as the 0layer serves a ban for the red?

Red would be classed as a stand alone ban.

The player would still have 2 yellows to his name.

I think the ban is served just for the red so they would still be 3 yellows away from suspension.

I think the more worrying thing about this is how many were actually deserved.

The QPR one was an utter farce.

Cheers.
Seems a bit harsh, like being punished 3 times.
Sent off...team down to 10. Banned for a game. Then adds up to a further ban.

Especially given some yellows are “earned” these days for simply doing more then 3 fouls in a match rather than for a bad challenge or whatever. Plus the way yellows are chucked about by some refs for absolutely nothing.

Oh well, I wouldn’t want any of our players to lose that effort and bite from their game.

He's got 1 straight red, and 4 yellows. My question is, if he is booked by 30th Nov, is he banned for 1 game, or 2 as he as already served a suspension this season?

In the lead up to Hull's goal I was worried that he was going to pick up a second yellow - watch the lunge at their player and his reaction. Having previously allowed play to go on for some time before showing Leon his yellow, we were possibly fortunate that Hull went on to score!

This is a very good point ....... some of the yellows we have picked up recently have been fairly "soft" especially in comparison to some of the "agricultural lunges" that have gone unpunished against us !!

I'm quite disappointed with the lack of quality and the inconsistency of refereeing at this level of football ....... hoped there would be a huge step up from the incompetence of the L1 referees but the improvement only seems to be marginal :(

I think you could argue the standard is actually worse.

it was clearly for being too good of a player and intimidating the opponents with his presence
