View From Hull

Pig fan is right we are so lucky every week. The opposition for some reason always play really bad against us and gift us all our goals. Keep dreaming and crying you deluded swine

No. Beaten by a very good team who were unplayable second half. When the scales go down at one side they come up at the other. We were brilliant. Hull went the way any other Championship team would have. It happened to the current leaders as well. Lots of ‘worst teams’ against us.
I think they were the defensively worst side I've seen. Only player from their team I'd want on today' performance was Campbell

We will have to play like we did second half in order to win a game? You set the bar very high! How is any other team in the league winning any matches at all, because not one of them can match that?
When we don't play like that we get beat by average teams like forest Norwich and QPR
We have to work harder than them or we will fall foul of their game plan which surely you of all people can see is warnockesque

“They were nothing special at all … a bunch of average players but well organised and working hard for each other as a team. Of course we should be down after a result like this, and of course it could define our season. Embarrassing. Potentially another step toward a relegation battle.”
Love it when they get all bitter and twisted :D:D:D

We aren't going to be at our best every game. But we are a bowling ball wrapped in knives flying down a hill when we smell blood. So impressed with the intensity that gets turned on when the players are feeling it

Yeah course I'm not expecting us to play at our best every week
But teams are going to set up the same way against us now and if were not up for it we will struggle

I'm not complaining we have far exceeded my expectations
I think a play off spot would be an amazing achievement and if love to see us finally bury that hoodoo and under Lord wilder I'm sure we could

We spent a lot of Last year dealing with negative teams just trying to nick a point. If Coutts and Fleck work quickly enough we'll be fine. We also could have been 2-0 up after 15 mins today. I'd much rather teams sit back then press us.

Another s**t away day with ends on a high as the wan**r sign making Sheff Utd fan is head butted by a police horse and falls over”... bit of constructive critique

Funny that, I'm sure I've heard it before....
I love it when these muppets say that. Long may it continue.

It’s not that long since we played them st Wembley when they were quite the class act and we were the plucky but in the end well beaten underdogs. Next thing you know they’ve signed a future England defender from us. And now look at them and us ... would be
no surprise if we’re two divisions apart next season. Just shows how good management can transform things.

“McGregor — without his saves this could have been a record defeat”

“without him that’d have been a cricket score”

they got that spot on. as mcgregor was impressive. id forgot about for few years he pull off 3 great saves 1st half & then 1 just start of the 2nd half

I thought this post from a deluded Wolves fan was worth highlighting.

Good on him, Clarke's as average as you can get at this level but that Wilder is very impressive. Getting Clarke scoring regular in the champ is up there with when Jesus turned the fish and loafs into a feast for 5000.

The view from a set of wankers who prefer balls of the egg shaped variety to football and from a city where football was born when Dean Windass went for a kick about one day as a youngster.

They are a true league 1 club playing well above their level.

It’s amazing when a team that’s “nothing special” with “average players” sticks four past a team that’s just come down from the Premier League.
All the teams we’ve beaten this season have conspired to play badly against us. Nothing to do with the fact that our team have made them all look “nothing special” and “average” then? I would suggest sides like Hull, Derby and Wendy have been made to look crap because we made them look crap, because we are a bloody good footballing side.

I like to highlight a favourite comment and make some comments of my own but I can't really decide which one this time...

Perhaps this one..

“Glad i turned my laptop off at 2 1, I ****ing hate these bastards"

Did he fuck turn it off, Mr Lightowler ran out of fucking coal, Victorian aged twat.
