They hit the bar, had a 1-on-1, dominated possession. It was the most play anyone has had against us this season I would say.

They dominated possession but hardly had any shots, they were trying to walk the ball into the net and scared to shoot.
We had 2 goals disallowed for very close offside decisions, one goal should have counted. We also hit the woodwork too.

Do agree though that in midfield Brentford were very impressive and it was a culture shock.
I remember thinking “Brentford are on another planet, skill and ability wise compared to anything in league 1”
That match we were like the away team, relying on direct play and counter attacks
HOWEVER it was our first match in a new league and we’ve improved greatly since then.

I am coming to the conclusion that Norwich city fans are some of the most irritating, boring and sanctimonious people on earth.
I work with a Norwich fan,and believe me,he's one of the strangest humans I've ever encountered.lived in Norfolk till 1995,moved up north, lives in Bolsover and was separated at birth from Warwick Davis, talks like Kenneth Williams.

Imagine having the gaul to think you're one of the best sides in the league and are talking as though promotion is at the end of the season... When you play negative time wasting cuntish football.

They'll be found out and finish about 14th

My thoughts exactly. The teams that go up at the end of the season are, by and large, the ones who attack most and go out to win matches. Norwich timewaste, wind the other team up, defend with 11 men behind the ball and hardly ever score more than one goal a game. When they beat us at the Lane I wasn't too downhearted because I'm 100% sure we'll finish above a team like that this season.

I used to work with one. His retirement present to himself was walking from Penistone to Nice in France. :)

Thats the best post I have read, on and off over the last couple of days, well done Tyler. The comment from the QPR fansaying it was a pig trying to get to Hillsborough was fuckin hilarious.

QPR:

I dont like Sheffield Wednesday. Always get agro at Hillsborough plus its a pig to get to and from. Would be quite content to see United go up and Wednesday slum in the Championship, with all their fire power and big money buys

I'm finding all this positivity from other fans and the media a bit hard to cope with, never known anything like it. Big shout out to the QPR, Sunderland, Villa, Cardiff and Fulham fans who were very complimentary. Find the Hull one a bit odd, if you asked me to list our local rivals I'm doubt Hull would make the top 20! To be honest I always forget it's even in Yorkshire. The Norwich rivalry is an odd one, long memories some people!

Half the people from Norwich are weird. The other half are sound and will admit that the other half are odd.

People down there can live next door to someone for 20 years and never speak to them ever.

I’m sure you’re right, but none of that has anything to do with luck!

Wolves are rather arrogant twats. Almost on the pig scale.

Edit. Great minds
Funnily enough my manger is a Wolves fan. Top top bloke but come Thursday/Friday. "Who you got this weekend" and this weeks reply, although the same every week just replace the team name. "QPR, I'm going, sold out, 3K, gunna batter em". Erm........ I look forward to Monday !

They do have a very very good squad and some unbelievable talent for this league but the Tuesday nights in Sheffield, when it's sheeting down with rain and cold will affect some players. Imagine living in the algarve and playing football then suddenly your at Bolton in December and it's fucking freezing, going to affect you initially.

The Norwich fan I mentioned in an earlier post remembers Norwich playing United in an FA cup match at Carrow road sometime late 1950’s early 1960’s. They were always a lower league club to my mind

What a great read !
Thank you Tyler for a)thinking of doing this, and b)having the patience to go through all other championship fans websites, just to see if they mentioned little old us!
Labour of Love definitely, hope you can do it again in a few months time, but obviously only if we still doing ok !
(Don't really want to know what they think if we've fallen away ! :)

My name is Roygbiv and you will shortly be hearing from my solicitors, Messrs. Sue. Grabbit and Run with regard to a blatant breach of my Intellectual property rights.

Seriously though, well done with that one.

The links all have interesting stuff. It's complimentary in the main, if in a jealous, delusional, self-loathing sort of way. I feel ashamed to have read all those pages, because I tell myself I don't care, but ... alas ... I read them. Time for a shower.

Nobody hates us be side deep down they think this is a mirage and we are one result away from dropping back to earth. Easy to be nice to something you see as non-threatening. If we are still top 2 in Feb the ever so familiar hatred will return

I can see why Naarwich hate us. We were extremely hypocritical in being disgusting with their time wasting from the very first minute in our game with them.

For us then to have the audacity to waste a few seconds with 5 mins left against Leeds.
