I guess if we do make the playoffs, and we do win, and we do stay up the next year, I guess we can all look forward to screwing up the year after. We are bound to fail sometime. Personally I hate to lose but looking at the big picture, we are in with a far better chance than last year of making and winning the playoffs, the club is in better shape so that if all those who expect us to fail get what they predict, the club will be in a position to do something rather than having to sell all the players just to balance the books. Going away and then coming back makes the contrast remarkable, I feel the club is in great shape and I still have faith the team can produce the goods. Shoot me I'm an optimist.

With the way it is there's no point in doing anything about it now.

We may aswell save it till the end of the season because we're not going to make the playoffs anyway, and it will save money for getting rid of him.

At the moment they can't sack him, because they can't give a justified reason. When about 40-50% of fans renew their season tickets next season because of his management, that's where they'll be able to justify it.

I'd be worried that Blackwell would try and sue the club for an unfair dismissal or something though, with us sitting so high up the table.
