After these two home games we play Leeds in the Sky game on the Friday, before the rest of the Saturday games. If we get 6 or 4 points from the two home games, we could well be in a position where beating Leeds will put us top.

They pass away but they never leave you,walk past her old place(walking dogs) most days and say hello she has been gone since Sept 1990.

All I can say to you mate is I hope you have lovely memories of your mother to look back on. I lost my mother about 7 years ago now. She was my rock in life. In the end I was relieved to see her pass on because her life wasn't her own anymore. It wasn't nice seeing her lose her independence and dignity. I have nothing but fond memories of her. Every time I think of her I feel happy and content knowing that she did her best for me and vice-versa. This is a lovely feeling. I never feel sad thinking of her tbh. I just feel a lovely warmth and smile thinking about those wonderful years together. That helps a lot.

I have very different feelings about my father. I feel very sad when I think of his passing - he was 54, I was 18. We never had that kind of "loving" close relationship. A strict Victorian father and a headstrong young son. I was just 18 when he died.

It really does help if you can look back with fondness and lovely memories.

As the guy before me said - football is important - but it's not that important.

my mother was a blade was a guest at the club on her 93rd birthday and had lunch with Tony Currie, its all she talked about the last two years. She went to our last cup final with her dad

She knew how important football is to us all , from my dad down to her great great grandson .
Sad but coping as 95 is a very good age ,but she got my first United kit in the sixties , and knitted me a bobble hat every season up to being 16, its more like watching a great player retire than losing her, if you can understand what I mean
