He was here as a young keeper but I don't think that he ever made a first team appearance, perhaps during the time of CW as a player. I understand that he is also a keen Unitedite, so passes the bladey blade test. I seem to remember he played a few games against us and did quite well, so have his proteges.

It doesn't say, its about him leaving Chesterfield, but says he might be coming to United.

It says he’s going to a role in the Academy, so presumably not replacing Ward (who Wilder is very complimentary about).

Wasn't Jamie Annerson involved in the academy coaching side of things? He's another one who was highly thought of but never quite made the grade.

EDIT: Annerson left earlier this year to take up "a role with the Football Association". I'd imagine that Duke is coming in as his replacement then.

In a nutshell, he used to coach our U21's. Moved to Chesterfield under Caldwell. Now Caldwell has been sacked he's coming back to work for his pal Wilder again who he played for in Sunday League. Presumably with the Under 21's again?
