Was watching last few moments of the program and Dan Walker made the following comment. "If you think we have forgotten the Sheffield Derby we hadn't. We had a piece lined up with Billy Sharp but he got injured so we had to scrap it. We will do something for the return match though." So maybe we will actually get a mention in January. There was feck all on BBC about the game. If it had been Leeds it would been all over the shop. I hate the way they treat anything about us with disdain. Unless of course it's negative, then they have a field day. Tossers.

Walker has a tendency towards the piggies from his time in Sheffield as a student - probably why they pulled the Sharp feature, nowt to do with him being injured

Dan Walker is a top fella, think his wife is a Wednesday fan so by that connection so is he, however he's spoken before about Sheffield football. A very genuine guy and loves Sheffield football. It's probably down to him that the billy sharp piece was done in the first place

Yeah I was just being facetious really, I think he comes across as a very decent bloke and he has mentioned football in Sheffield on several occasions. The only blemish is that he prefers them.

At the start of 606 yesterday they were talking a lot in the intro about our win, with an open invitation to United fans to call. The only one they had on closed the programme out, and I've no doubt he'll have been the only one to call up. Ian Wright made a point of having a go at Savage's comments on the derby ("I couldn't believe what I was hearing when he said that") and they were very positive about the game and us.

He mentioned it on national BBC breakfast this morning and admitted his team were beaten by Sheffield United and wished them well done. Top bloke, has cheered up the news program, always has female co presenters in fits of giggles.

Was asked for his thoughts on the Sheffield Derby. His reply was along the lines of "not interested".

Into the Twats thread with him. Although he surely must be in there already somewhere.

At the very end of tonight's 5 live phone in Robbie Savage was invited to comment on tomorrow's Steel City derby. His response.... "I don't care"...... when prompted again by (clearly non-plusses co-presenter) he repeated his "I don't care.. I'm not a fan of Sheffield Wednesday or Sheffield United...".

What a twat. What a complete and utter twat.

All his wife's family are Wednesday but generally speaking most are non practicing. Really good fella is Dan & he mashes a decent cuppa too.

Anyone hear the wind up on TalkSport. I'm not sure if it was a Blade or just some random (he sounded southern) but he claimed he was pork and started saying they had to get rid of Carvahal then went on to say 'Luis Enrique's out of work, we should go for him'. The presenter then realised it was a piss take and cut him off.

I heard him. He's a tw@t of the first order. He's being paid by the licence payers on a bloody phone in about football to talk about all teams not just his time at bloody Leicester.
