Some of them are so deluded it's unreal

They just can't accept we are a half decent side

I genuinely believe it's because they believe we haven't spent much money so we must be shit. Honestly, some are utterly clueless

I have always maintained to my piggy mates and colleagues that regardless of money, we have something they haven't.........................Wilder

I hope Carlos stays there for the forseable, cos I don't see them going anywhere fast
 
I know they're a delusional bunch, but I'm very confused to why they're so certain they'll finish above us.
 
Every time we got the ball on the deck and played our triangles and moved it quickly we cut them open with ease. Their defence was an absolute shambles and were completely at sea. To be honest we should have been 3-0 up at half time, we were battering them.

John Fleck and Paul Coutts, as they did all of last season and most of this, bossed the midfield like they were just anybody else. The Wednesday fans seem to have this bizarre idea that because their players are "names," on more money, cost more, or have come from the Premiership, that this somehow makes them better as individuals and that the only reason we beat them is because we have team spirit. Nonsense. Coutts and Fleck would walk into their XI, along with several others, regardless of system, regardless of manager.

They laughed at our suggestions that if we played our style of fast, attacking football we could batter them. They laughed at Leon Clarke. Well lads, you're not laughing now.

To be frank, Wednesday were terrible. Most of what they had to offer was trying to get it in behind our attacking wing backs and then just chucking crosses into our box. Truth be told, they rarely got in behind, their crosses didn't beat the first man and the ones that did Blackman caught and was able to drop on top of and eat the clock down.

Wednesday fans if you are reading this, you should be embarrassed by your arrogance pre-match. I'm delighted that we beat you. I'd also invite you all to look at the league table and re-visit your theories that we were "up for this one more" because of Wilder. We're a better team, playing better football, with better, hungrier players. UTB!

Which, translated, means they've spunked millions upon millions upon millions on the likes of Jordan "Invisible Man" Rhodes and Joost "Clown Boots" Van Aken.

But are, say, Bannan and Lee "clearly, better individual players" than Coutts and Fleck, really?

I mean, we had two children both playing their second full game of man's football, & both of them were "clearly, better individual players" than their counterparts.

Might just be a long old season for La Liga's fading galacticos.

Cheers Roy. Quality read!!. I know we've heard from delusional fans before but the snort beasts take it to a brand new level!!!. They're unable to get into their thick heads that we've improved immensely under wilder!!. Never cared what they thought anyway.

Not at all sure that their fans realise they were beaten by a controlled, together football team today. No biting tackles, no hoofball, no intimidation - just a team that knows that every player and member of the management team is part of the group and it is the group that is important.

Controlled, composed,smooth, attractive and entertaining football entirely at home in the Championship. Oh and we beat them on workrate and focus and the result flatters the home team - it was a massacre and could have been much more.
 



If any Wendyite wonders why today's result was a long time coming, just look at their over-inflated sense of entitlement coming from their 'fans'. Look you pigs, the game is not played on paper and neither is it played by the rules of the biased local media on Radio Pork or the Shitfield Star.
Think Wilder is a 'decent' manager? You ain't seen nothing yet!

The penny dropped.... What they mean when they say they are better on paper, is that their team is better on Toilet paper
 
Still have this theory that to a man their players are all better than ours.
They must be really fecking thick. They simply cannot admit they know sod all about football and were way off the mark when assessing the ability of our players.

Any impartial supporter of football would be pretty clear that our full backs are both technically better, and in Baldock has the pace to be a premier league player too.
They would look at midfield and see players that had more quality, work ethic and intent in red and white. Keeper....big Jamal all day long.
Centre halves...we have a very big prospect from Spurs...better than anything they have. JOC....unlike that Dutch chuff won his tackles and headers.
And finally...they haven’t brought ANYTHING through their academy with anyth8ng close t9 the talent of Brooks. THE most dangerous player on the pitch.

Player values now.....Fletcher, Rhodes? Still worth millions are they?? Fucking no chance.
We have more value in our side today than theirs, and one fact is that premier league clubs will be looking at one or two of our players....none of their clogging has beens.
