So what is clear is that the pigs fans, manager and players didn't do their homework on us last season or this. If they had done they would've seen that our counter attack was something special in league one.

The worst thing that that any opposition team can do against United is lose the ball to us on the edge of our own box after a sustained period of pressure. Today we saw how deadly we are. The first 3 goals all came as a result of a fast counter.

Countless times we moved the ball at speed from box to box that they couldn't cope. Wednesday werent smart enough to do what Boro did and stifle us down the wings. Wednesday thought that they were better in every department, but they just couldn't cope with the pace, the quick passing, the long balls when needed, the movement off the ball.

I can only compare United of today to Manchester United in the 90's with the class of 92, the Giggs, Sharpe, Kanchelskis, Scholes, Cantona moving the ball so quickly that the opposition were just blown apart. Except, i'd go so far as to say that the speed with which we did it was better. Unbelievable at times today.

Let's not forget what they wanted us to da as well which was to attack them as it would play to there galaxy of stars strengths ,
Like how that worked out
I was taking the piss out of a piggy mate in the first half and said they really shouldn't try to match our passing game, forget that and just go long ball, stick to what they're good at. Its not disrespectful, its the truth.

Saw a convo on facebook between two piggy mates discussing the game afterwards and they said that they wished that they could play in the same way that we do.

Got to admit that the fast counter and catching teams on the break gets the crowd on their feet... after our fourth wednesday were using theirs to get to the exits

Considering many have said we lack pace, the sheer quality many of our players have on the ball more than compensates. Duffy, Brooks, Fleck and even Coutts can make it stick and beat a man. Baldock is brilliant and can take it with pace, and Stevens is an extremely solid all round player. Those are just the ones we saw today.

Clarke did an incredible job of playing others in today, and he bullied their defenders. The best performance I've ever seen from him.

They did play into our hands, and I really don't think they realised how good we are.

Absolutely smashed them today.

Theres a thread somewhere from the summer where i've basically said this. Individual players with pace is fine, but collectively moving the ball box to box at the speed we did today is so much more effective

It's exciting with our approach and the Pigs build up in the main is boring.

Catch a more sensible pig fan and they'll tell you they haven't been great to watch in the last 2 seasons.
