Not a chance! It's on sky and they don't give a flying fuck about the fansSYPD thick c*nts! Guaranteed late kick off! Guaranteed
Nothing to do with SYP this time. Sky moved it to the 24th, presumably not knowing that we had the 10K on the same day. I'm assuming the police decided the KO time, and they obviously couldn't have that whilst the 10K is still on but still wanted it as early as possible.SYPD thick c*nts! Guaranteed late kick off! If I remember rightly they did it in the season we beat the Pigs 3-1 at The Lane when Brown scored that stunner. The police originally moved it to a lunchtime KO (I think on the Sunday) and then Sky stepped in and moved it to the Friday night.When a TV company no longer merely covers games but these days has the power to dictate when they are played, does that not strike anybody else as FUNDAMENTALLY FUCKING WRONG???

Thanks for that, DellboyAs others mentioned when this fixture got moved, it's the Sheffield 10K prior to the game and there are significant road closures.
If you might be travelling across the city here's the times, routes and planned alternate routes
Completely agree. That a television company has authority over the police is absolutely fucking ridiculous.It baffles me that it was ever allowed to get to this stage and they've been allowed that power. It really does.

Ridiculous really that SYP couldn't have responded to Sky with something along the lines of "Not a fucking chance, half the roads in the City Centre are going to be closed till at least dinner time".

That was last week wasn't itAs well as the Sheffield 10k it's also the weekend when most of the students will be moving back into the city, which always causes traffic chaos
Thanks Chief InspectorIt works nothing like any of you above are suggesting apparently. If you also look at the timetable it will have little or no impact. When one of the Sheffield clubs are at home on a Saturday sy police also have to police Barnsley, Donny or Rotherham. They do so. If SY Police think it is better to delay the kick off then they will do so. Sky have no say.
Sky ask if the Police can Police it before moving it.
assumed you were kidding but no - Noon til 4;And on top of all that our lass reckons the auditions for Britain's Got Talent are on at Ponds Forge.
Thanks for posting that mate, it's very handy. I'm planning to go over the tops and drop down into Rivelin from Lodge Moor - that should work.As others mentioned when this fixture got moved, it's the Sheffield 10K prior to the game and there are significant road closures.

Carlos will be rushing there straight after the game because he wants to stay in this country. He's going to show them how to fall on his own sword.assumed you were kidding but no - Noon til 4;
