Said on the radio that Donaldson was clearly badly injured and they were cheering.

Donaldson was struck by something thrown by the Sunderland Fans apparently - which is why he had to go off.

Very good player and just the signing we needed.

Think when we played Brentford a few years back he gave us the run around and played well.
 
Edwards is a bitter old pro that pisses & whines about how there wasn't big money when he was around.
 



Did everything we could have asked from him today and 2 well taken goals. Could be a big player for us

Hopefully not a bad injury - he walked off at least.

On that showing we got the right one over the line on deadline day compared to Sinclair / Cole. Still got a bit of pace but with added physicality!
 
2 goals on his debut and he doesn't complete 90 mins. Not many players have such an impact as this but I bet the brummy fans have taken note though.

What an inspired signing. Just hope he's not too badly injured.

It's going to be disappointing for Sunderland fans when the seats within 50 yards of the away fans left, right and below are closed
 
He still didn't cost enough money for me. Yes he had a great game, yes he fits perfectly in our system, yes he offers something none of our other strikers do, yes he runs in behind stretching the game offering the midfield options, yes he allows us to go one up top because he can lead the line alone allowing us to pack the midfield in tough away games and bring Billy on to grab a goal BUT I'd rather we spent over a million on him because that'd make him a better player. We really need to stop shopping in the bargain basement or we'll never be able to go to the big boys in this league and get anything.
 
He pulled his hamstring by the looks of it, could be 3 weeks out and yes Sunderland fan threw something (looked like a plastic bottle) near him, our players went mental at the Sunderland fans and police/stewards stepped in.
 
Looked to me like he pulled his hamstring rather than cramp, not good news.

He wont be back for the derby if thats the case.

Great debut and finger's crossed he's only twinged it and not pulled it. Could be out for a while if the latter.
