Sunderland remind me of us alot under Adkins in that 1st half. players got the world on there shoulders l defeated crowd because they seen so much failure (last home league win 17th dec), nothing to get excited about & the away team works its socks off, plays brilliant & send the home fans even more on there players backs.

which after 6yrs of being on the receiving end of it. nice to finally get the benefit of it :D

Billy and Coutts off for Brooks and Lundstram

Brooks looking lively, even if the ball isn't sticking to him and his passes are going astray. Composure lad, not every run has to be direct and not every pass has to be rushed

Donaldson scores a cracker, but injured in celebrations, hamstring?

What a start to the stsrt of the season
A club to be proud of again

Don't score there in in a while don't win there for 21 years well done lads

Last few minutes of the game. Linesman gave a 50-50 throw-in call to Sunderland near the half way line. Wilder was furious. Moments later, one of our players (think Freeman) goes in and wins a 50-50 by the half way line. Wilder is clapping and gesticulating wildly. It says a lot.

Just watched second goal again. Donaldson looks like he's pulled his hamstring. When he was on the floor a bottle hit him. Didn't look too hard, but out of order. Hope his hamstring's not too bad, one of the best debuts I've seen since Boborkis.

Utterly dominant performance. Well worth all the points.

Took till minute 94 for them to register an on target effort. Shame. We deserved a CS.

We are making some decent (on paper) sides look very very ordinary.

Onwards.
