If there are any Blades in Florida, please take care as Irma approaches. The Caribbean has been devastated by the strongest Atlantic hurricane in history.

Harvey devastated Texas and now Irma will shows its force over Florida.

While I watch my beloved Blades in Ohio on iFollow, please spare a thought for what it may feel like in 165 mph winds and 10 foot surge. Let's hope the magnificent Keys survive and we have all been to Miami.

Toledo, thank you mate, your sentiments are very much appreciated by me. We live 50 miles south of Tampa and the latest track looks very, very ominous as its coming right over the top of us.

I will have my wife and my four year old daughter at home while I have to work during the storm, I tell ya at this point my nerves are just about shot, trying to remain professional!

UTB.......please get me a win this weekend to give me something to smile about!

A wise man once told me, they don't put your company name on your tombstone.

You make the right decision for you and your family! Fuck work!

the only way you should be working is if your emergency services, if not be with your family, and if your boss had anything about him/her they would call work off anyway. thoughts will be with you

My boys over there, (Florida) working, he's had to move out of his hotel, contemplated taking a 25hr drive out of there, but traffic is too built up. So staying at his bosses home, but it's right on the coast. His mum is worried sick.

I just checked Ventusky and on Tuesday it will be in North Georgia Mate and well past Orlando, however you may have a bumpy ride in and the scenery may not be so pretty :)

Thanks mate, keep an eye on Ventusky.com as there is Jose who is hot on the heels of Irma! Could be a double whammy, you know like teams scoring just before half time and then one at the start of the second...teams don't usually come back from that :)

Have a safe flight mate.

Floridas governor recently said there was no such thing as climate change. A senior advisor to him said the recent increase in hurricanes was Gods displeasure at Gay Marriage being legalised in the States.

Americans eh?

Cheers Kryten ,His boss has posted this on Facebook, if any blades are struggling.

5.6 million people have been told to leave their homes... let that number sink in for a minute. That's the equivalent of the population of Sheffield, 11 times over... all told to leave or risk death. Fuck me...

Stay safe over there boys & girls!

Fingers crossed my mate Oz will be/is ok. He's currently in the Caribbean for his mothers funeral. Proper blade, he will be driving from Heathrow on his return straight to the lane for about 3-3.30pm when we play Norwich. Stay safe pal and to all other blades out there

Its looking bleak fella but we must stay positive, if your lad needs any help in the aftermath inbox me, I'm technically just down road!
Fingers crossed for all you out there. Stay safe mate.

P.S. Get yer duffle coat on, it might get parky out there !!!
