I'm not sure what people are complaining about. Leicester were always going to get more time but they were complimentary towards us.

Come on mate plenty to complain about in that they glazed over everything Leicester did and neglected to mention our own circumstances was piss poor

They were aware that 29 scouts came to watch Brooks in the last round, which was worrying.

We made exactly the same changes as them so Sky, just fuck off like the rest of the media, we don't need your respect in any shape or form. Infact the Blades don't need anyone from the outside attempting to look in.

The German commentators mentioned about 3 times in the first 10 minutes our 8 changes. They do their homework, not like the Sky lot, apparently.

I watched the first half on a Danish channel, as I expected they would gave a bit of a "Blades primer" to their viewers. They did - we got the Ched back story and a roundup of the years in League One culminating in last season's success. Oh and he reckoned Brooks would be off. The commentator also said that our ground holds 32k but there were a 'few spare seats' tonight- then laughed sarcastically. There were still more at the Lane than most Danish clubs pull in every week, you Carlsberg-supping twat.

Is that the same channel that normally has the pigs on?
Those Danish like their bacon.

Have to admit the constant banging on about Leicester's changes was getting on my tits

Just got back, no way was that worthy of a 4-1 result to Leicester.

Their fans were bang up for it, they see winning the League Cup as their way into Europe to be able to compete and make use of some of the Champions League money. To us Blades it didn't mean much.

Leicester have entered my top 5 of plastic / bellend fans, 5yrs ago they were nothing, theyre not even a top 3 midlands sides, now their fans are preaching how great they are .......... FUCK OFF.

PS - I can't put up with that daft fucking Midlands accent again in 5 days.

The Germans also mentioned our normal 25000+ crowds for league games. They also said the score flattered Leicester. They were very fair to both sides. As I said, well prepared.

When the draw came out it felt more the like an all Championship affair again. Despite winning the prem they've always felt more of a 2nd tier club like ourselves. Give it a few more seasons and they'll be back in the Championship.

I wouldn't worry. They just came to see him get his 'Shimmying past 3 defenders and hammering it home from 25 yards' badge.

I hope sky go bust tbh, then we will see the proper game we love come back to the fan's of club's.

Why? As I've explained many times there are scouts at every game watching good players. It's their jobs. Worry when there are no scouts watching our players at all.

Fans. Clubs. Plurals.

There is no such word as 'tbh'. It's a forum, not a text message to your teenage mates. Check the rules, please, which are currently being abused as blatantly as the English language.

In terms of potential we're a top tier club. Bigger than Stoke, WBA, Palace, Fulham, Swansea, Burnley, Soton, Huddersfield et al, including ultimately Leicester City, one-off, snapshot in time champions that they may be.

For those about to say I'm talking like the Pigs, take it up with someone who gives a fuck what they say or do.

Sky commentators are very fickle and go with the feel of the game but then really over emphasise that and make it seem like they expected it would go this way all along.

"This is a really test, United are on form...this is a Leicester reserve side with plenty to prove but not much game time, they'll have to be careful".
"Finally...4-1, thoroughly deserved, never in doubt, premier league class shone through".

who cares what Sky think.. the commentators set it up so that they can say 'see i said that would happen.. i'm competent.. i know football' etc etc

They also bang on about the same points over and over again, just worded slightly differently. It only serves to accentuate that they haven't done their homework.

Gray isn't getting as much time as he'd like to in the first team.
Gray has been told to be patient in his bid for first team chance.
Gray will hope he's proven a point tonight.
Demarai, do you think you've given the manager something to think about?

don't forget they have to fill 90 minutes of sometimes tedious action.. it becomes a waffle fest

they don't just commentate, but also have to "sell" the game. If he said "we'll the Blades have made loads of changes, as have Leicester, but with the team values been so wide i can see this been a fairly one sided game. not many fans have turned out, so expect a quiet atmosphere here this evening for what i predict will be formality for the big boys of the premiership"
hardly going to keep viewers tuned in !
even though when he was handed the gig he probably thought "fuckin great, a midweek Carabollox cup match that no fucker will attend and will have more changes than a baby with the shits"
cue game face "we'll here we are at what could be a potential upset for the recent premier league winners......
