Everyone seems to have a mate who supports a team we've just played. Some even know multiple.

Who the fuck knows a Brentford or Walsall fan, really? You multicultural bastards.
I lived opposite a Brentford fan in Maidenhead.

Lovely guy.

Me, I live in Shepherds Bush. Which, tbf, is quite a long way from Walsall, although possibly not far enough.

"Not one player who played last night started their game against Brentford at the weekend"

Not true - for Exhibit A I give you Chris Basham,

Work with a walsall fan who was amazed they'd managed to score 2, very downbeat. And we're not all downbeat in the black country, even though we talk like we are, though yes, we're multicultural.

Good job Wednesday haven't got any money left otherwise theyed blow 5 million of it on Oztumer after that penalty. I'm guessing our £300k bid didn't quite cut it though.

I wonder how many years of good football we will have to play to clear the long ball shit from other teams minds, my guessing is it will always be, "Oh its Sheffield United, lump it merchants" regardless of the fact we no longer play like that!

The problem is, it correlates a view of Sheffield as a rough, tough city full of no-nonsense northerners with football to match. Our Porcine neighbours somehow seem to have side-stepped this by interspersing years of arid football with a couple of seasons where Chrissy Waddle fucked about on the wing.

that's a very good and fair analysis, I guess we will never shake it unless we get to the promise land and have a few good seasons, as for them they look more and more like a lump ball team and as you say side step it thanks to the fat wanker waddle, who is no doubt still eating his body weight in bacon sangers in Broomhall the fat wanker.

Bakayoko is definitely a player worth keeping an eye on. I've always been impressed in him. Has a touch of a young Deano about him.

He's a striker and his goals scoring record against us is fantastic, a goal a game in the last four. Statistically, 80% of his Walsall goals have come against us and the other one, no idea, but he's played over 50 games for The Saddlers, so he's not exactly prolific :-)

No he isn't but as a comparison, nor was Deano, until he joined us. Not saying he'll be as good as Deano, but he has some potential.
