Why are people saying Brayford? He's not part of the plans and doesn't have a number, he's not going to play.

Because we're one player short of being able to change the entire defence and he's still our player. K.Wallace didn't have a number at the start of last season and still ended up with one a few days later. Bennett doesn't have a number either but could easily be on the bench if we do leave a few out entirely.

I'd expect Lafferty, Lundstram, Brooks, Duffy, Lavery and Thomas to get a decent run out of some kind, Baldock if fit, but maybe stick with the same keeper and back three like others have said.

I would like to see Thomas play upfront against Walsall, from the highlights I have seen I think he would do well as a 2nd striker and would give some balance. I don't see how else he fits in otherwise

Would definitely keep Blackman in goal, daft not to. Could almost be seen as a bonus game to allow him to get to know the backline more. I'd also stick with the same back 3.

If any of our back three who played on Saturday were to get injured by playing tonight we'd be very vulnerable against Boro with only really Wright who could step in. In other words we'd be fucking mental to play any of them. Wright, Lundstram and Brayford or give any of our U23s a chance, anything other than our main 3 defenders basically.
