Who are these idiots? I've seen a few comments labelling us as a long ball team recently (mainly from planks on social media), but where does that opinion come from when it's the opposite of the truth???
 
Id take 16th i am sure i will get slated for a lack of ambition however i had already predicted a 14th place finish,

The myth that clubs like Wet Spam play lovely football....blades hoof it....Guardiola is a top class manager....it goes on and on.

If they think we are long ball just wait till they get a load of Bolton.

Uneducated fans who know little about the game love to label clubs as playing in a certain way as if players and managers aren't ever changing.
 
Pigs will fall apart this season . Got around 20 points they didn't deserve last season with late wins like against Barnsley and Rotherham.just think there's no togetherness there. Think middlesboro will mirror Aston Villa and spunk a fortune to be mediocre.

There are a number of scientific and socio-economic theories on this, all of them citing and referencing some pretty credible sources and utilising rafts of complex data.

For me, it is down to one thing. They are cunts.

They says luck evens itself out. Maybe there's will this season, at one stage they seems to be getting dodgy decisions or total flukes every home game.
 
Fulham for 2nd?! I doubt it and I don't think Boro will be top either under the unproven Monk who should have got dirty Leeds in the play offs last season. I'm going for something like this, but who knows!?

Indeed.

Frankly, if there is a club that should have a reputation for direct long-ball football, it's the Pigs. They played thug football in the 60's; Burtenshaw, Ashurst, Charlton (and Tony Toms), Wilkinson and Eustace playing ale-house football through the 70's and 80's; and latterly Megson and Dave Jones playing ugly route-one football. Even Carvahal, despite all the millions spent, still relies on hitting it long to the big plank up front, be it Fletcher or Nuhiu.

As it is, a couple of years of Ron Atkinson at the opportune moment when SKY appeared and football coverage exploded, appears to have been enough to cleanse 50 years of anti-football at the Sty.
