That example of negative logic made me laugh.
Bookies get things right more than they get things wrong, that's how they stay in business.
Of course they don't ALWAYS get things right but that's like saying
a player should join Leicester in the PL instead of Man Utd because Leicester recently won the league
So there's no reason why they couldn't win it again before Man Utd.

I think the only reason he would choose Bristol over us is based on location. If he already has a house in the Oxford area then he can stay there because Bristol isn't far from Oxford. However his family are from Liverpool so he might like the idea of heading north to be closer to his roots. He'd be able to share a lift in the car with fellow Scousers Duffy and OConnelll too (saves him a bit of petrol money ha ha).

I think most of them just want bodies through the door which is understandable. We only have 2 midfielders who I'm confident in playing that role that Fleck and Coutts do, we need another 1 or 2 for me. Sooner the better.

Not really. By all accounts it's a player CW wants to sign and one that we should be capable of signing. It shouldn't matter whether we've heard of him or not, if Wilder wants him, I want him.
 
At least with tonight's friendly and interview after should know whether this deal is on or not. I wonder if the Oxford manager announced the deal was almost complete last week when in reality there was still plenty to go and just wanted to drum up interest from elsewhere.

More like likely another side have come in for him and offered more money, which seems to be a recurring theme this summer.

We are a championship side now we have to start paying like one.

Have you got any evidence to support this 'recurring theme'? Or are you too busy finding ways to be negative about our club? The reality is none of us really know what goes on behind the scenes, just sit back wait for legitimate information to come to light before jumping to conclusions.
