Looks silver on the rest too, hopefully that's how it actually is and the pics on the store are the "photoshop" version, silver looks proper smart

I'm not a fan of purple like, but personal opinions on colour aside, is it only me that thinks it's a bit of a joke that our sponsor has dictated the colour of our kit? It's bad enough that the kits are now plastered with advertising allover the place but this is now giving them even more power.

I know that money talks and all that but it's becoming a sad state of affairs how much it's ruling the game. It won't be too long before a club changes it's name to suit a sponsor.
 
I think its shite. What a contrast between the home and away kits. Swillsborough fans are saying were using one of their blue kits. Dreadful

As if it isn't bad enough being a Wednesdayite, shit ground, crap atmosphere, expensive tickets, having to say WAWAWAWAAWAW or whatever, they have shit kits to boot.

Just pay the money and get something at least as good as a semi pro team, not some knock off, back of a van crap.

Next season they'll probably sign a major sponsorship deal with Hongda motorbikes and the world famous soft drink Dr Pop.
 
That is a really, really nice shirt. It would be even nicer without the bullshit on the back, but I'll be buying one.

It's like day and night, even between Wendy and Chelsea, if you honestly can't tell that it's not blue, it's your problem, not the kits. It's empirically not blue, no matter what you say.

Yeah it's a bit of a worry generally I suppose, that's just how it is now though, even F1, look at Force India - money is harder to come by these days so you have to bow to them rather than the other way around. That said, I'll quite happily continue to support United doing it because it seems like it allows us to go monochrome on the home kit, which is the most important one.

Red and white stripes and a big purple logo would be grim, same last season with alpharooms, imagine orange and green on red and white.

Let's just hope we don't get sponsored by UPS in the future and end up with a shit brown and gold away kit haha

You see, that's a perfectly good, logical, explanation, backed up by some evidence. Although it is based on... "Club shop pictures".

Those of you who saw the game at Rotherham last night, you've seen the new "purple" kit...what do you think? Honestly?

I accept what this guy bromtom has provided here as being evidence that it is not the same shade of blue of as Wednesday or Chelsea - but to me, that's an irrelevance. It still looks "too blue" for my liking. As below.

What's more - I predict this will be the worst selling United kit of the last 20 years. Because people will perceive it as "blue" - no matter what colour palette mr bromtom provides us with to the contrary.

Embarrassing if anyone defends the new kit.

Best away kit we've ever had. Although it helps that most other have been utter dogshit.
