2017-18 Away Kit - PHOTOS

I'm about ready to fly down to an Adidas factory in Taiwan and demand my purple away shirt

I'm about to put the order in with my Iraqi Half and Half scarf producer, to knock out 10,000 purple 'Alidas' shirts. Should be in the UK by monday if some can stick the Blades badges on for me that would be great

"Unfortunately we have been unable to provide enough stock to meet fan demand for the new 17/18 home and away kit due to an issue with the adidas ordering process.

We are working as fast as possible to supply Sheffield United FC with a new delivery across our full size range.

adidas and the club will update supporters on when the new kits are likely to arrive.

We would like to apologise to any disappointed fans."

Is this why the away kit unveiling has been delayed?

Poor either way that a brand of their stature can't meet the demand of a 2nd tier football club ffs

Very poor from Adidas, but I don't know why we can't unveil it.

And I'm sure the we knew this, I don't think there's been a bloke waiting for a Adidas van outside the shop for 3 weeks wondering what's going off.

I'd take a "here's our new away kit, available [when stock is in]" on twitter. Summat to look at, and if it's rank at least the suspense is gone and you can go and get a home kit.

Surely they could say this is what it looks like and we hope to have the issue resolved by x date. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Hopefully they are in breach of clauses in our contract re contractual performance and we will get compensated for loss of revenues!

Brentford's is basically the same as ours too without the extra pinstripes, and there's a South American team with it in green who's name escapes me.

That template is the same one from the bright green kit 2 seasons back. I "hope" it's not that.

I assume it will be same as Birminghams H&A. Forests A etc.

If it's a Tiro and they don't do anything fancy it'll probably look like this:

But I'd take something with a pattern on, like this but replace black with a darker purple (limited choice on miTeam)

You might have to whack your brightness up to see it. Middle fades to Black, bottom has pinstripes like last seasons away kit.
