CONFIRMED Chris Hussey goes out on loan

Hope he lands on his feet wherever he goes. As a manager I wouldn't even entertain playing him at LB. Stick him at LM and make him the FK specialist. Wand of a left foot, if not much else.

yes...and he put an awful lot more into row Z mate - that's why he couldn't get in the team regularly. That and some very nervous defending. Nothing against the kid and hope he does well somewhere else. But I've not been impressed with him at all and I won't be wracking my brain to think of something that he did good once, or twice, just to be nice about him. I'll tell it how it is.

Good luck and goodbye. Hope we sell him rather than loan him out as he's likely to come bouncing back again if we do that.

Wouldn't have gone up without him, should have been in the mix for player of the season. :)

He played a part. Only a small part, but he was there in the squad and may well have been brilliant behind the scenes with the other players and the kids, for all I know.

Why do people feel the need to have a pop at some of the lesser players when they are for the off?

He also may well not have been from what Ive heard ,apparently came very close to getting a smack from another player at the celebration party someone told me.

A very significant goal from Husseys cross,we had played very well that day and it looked like EELs mistake was going to cost us,until Hussey put his cross onto the big lads head,it felt very much like we had won leaving the ground,he didnt have the best of luck with injuries,i saw him dislocate his shoulder up at Stocksbridge,from a dreadful and unnecessary challenge that kept him out,i would have preferred Hussey at LWB than having to watch Done try to play there

Like I have said in recent weeks, everyone who contributed anything, leading up to us reaching 100 points, played a part.

I have often said I think it was just a confidence thing with Hussey, maybe the weight of expectation and the huge crowds were too much for him? When he played in the chuck-a-turd game against Leicester, he was a different player. Small crowd (3k?), etc., he consistently beat his man and whipped in cross after cross, but no one was getting into the box to capitalise.

Because a) he remains our player and if he gets injured he comes back, b) we will end up having to pay half his wages, at least and c) he's never going to feature at BDTBL again....(someone said he had a "wand" of a left foot....I would take the thing back to Diagon Alley) so cut your losses and get shut.

After his performance that saw him subbed at half-time in the Oxford game at home I never want to see him near BDTBL again..
 
Loan would make no sense for us or him. What future does he have here?

Shop window. He's just had a shit season so we loan him out in the hope he'll do well and attract a permanent move.

I'd let him go on a permanent if anyone was interested, on a free, but I wouldn't be rushing to pay him up out of what appears to be a very small budget.

Portsmouth or Plymouth would be decent for him, however would prefer a permanent deal

might be the reason why we've not signed anyone else in the last few weeks, freeing up wages with departures first
