Ched. Will handsomely win the crown...of 2nd best striker in Sheffield (Billy being number 1 of course).

Bottlers got nowt to come, neither have his 'team'?? of individual shite.

Best goals to purchase price goes to....................

The only chance that Rhodes will score more than Ched this coming season will be if I re-live my wild youth again and get mi sen back to Faliraki and score like King Edwards did back in his pomp.

Wednesday are doing what we did, after we came back down from the Prem. Throwing money at it, at bigger names, in the hope it'll take them up. The difference being, we didn't throw anywhere near as much at it and we had parachute payments to help us out. And look how far back it set us.

They're throwing MUCH more at it in the age of silly money in football, and they don't have the parachute payments.

They must go up this next time or they're stuffed.

Oh, and Evans.

Sharp will outscore the pair of them whilst Hooper will probably be their top scorer. I reckon they will both get 15(ish).

Rhodes and Ched will get about 6 or 7 each. A decent return for one of them, absolute shite for the other overpaid snowflake.

Rhodes is a good signing but not in the team set up that Wendy preferred while he was there, which from what I heard and brief snippets I could tolerate watching, seemed to be very rigid and trying not to create any chances. If they amend that approach he'll score more. They will also concede more. I think they will continue to waste him.

Simmo will score from a penalty before the bottler.

Ched didn't do it the last time he was at this level and since then he's had a very lengthy spell out of the game.

I'm not convinced the bottler will get many either but he'll probably get more than Ched.

Doesn't matter though as Sharp will get more than both of em!!

I think Billy Sharp will score more than both of them put together.

He'll probably start more games than both of them put together also

Did he not do it at Norwich in the Championship?

Was he in a good team when he played for us in the Championship?

I think you may be pleasantly surprised!

If Billy can get himself fit this summer then maybe?

He's got some work to do tbh. Age isn't on his side but love the bloke and hope he can move up a gear because he'll need to if he's going to have a similar goal tally this coming season.

People saying ched was a disappointment when we were in the championship make me laugh.

He bagged 10 goals in our relegation season. In a team who were totally devoid of any inspiration. They played like a set of totally clueless tossers under Micky Adams.

Ched Evans was one of the only players that looked like he could give a flying fuck at times in our relegation season.

There aren't that many relegation strikers that get 9 league and 1 cup goal.

He could not single handedly keep us up when he was playing for that shower of shite we had to watch every week.

He's got the ability. He did well for Norwich. He was rated at City, he was rated at national level and he tore league 1 a new arsehole. Weather he can get back the form and fitness he had pre-break, we'll have to see. But no one can say he has any less ability than Rhodes. He scored roughly the same goals on fewer league 1 games than Rhodes did. One went to prison and the other has accumulated about 30 million in different transfer fees since.

I reckon Rhodes may score a few more / but because Wednesday are likely to be competing for top 6, where as I'm
Expecting us to be lower mid table while we adjust, so they are bound to score more as a team. But Ched is certainly at least his equal talent wise.

Oh, and Evans.

As long as the tuna man is willing to bankroll their losses they'll be fine.

The problem for us was that McCabe wouldn't or couldn't bankroll us once the parachute payments went so he sold any player he could get a fee for.

There is nothing wrong with spending big sums of money if you have a good owner e.g. Chelsea and Man City, it's when you have a crap owner e.g. Portsmouth that you have to worry.

Time will tell if Wednesday have a good one or not, so far he's been very good for them unfortunately.
