Got mine today, bit disappointed to be honest because the material is slightly off centre. Look how there's more white on one side of the shirt, next to the black side panel, than the other. I might be just being fussy but I think that's quite poor. There were loads like that on the rack, I did pick one up that looked fine but of course, when you go to pay for it, they just give you one from behind the counter :(

Are you on about the bit under the arms? Got mine today and trying to work out if it's a cuckoo or not.

Yes, it isn't so noticeable on the front of the shirt but on the back, there's a white stripe runs the length of the shirt on one side but only part way on the other.

Mine looks ok , to me anyway.

Just been down and got a 3-4 and a 5-6. They've altered the stripe sizes accordingly to make them fit.

But once you get to juniors the size of stripes are all the same.

Spare a thought for the 7-8 year olds...

Count the red stripes.

Far as I'm concerned it's a right dogs dinner, seen lots on kids and adults now and looking forward to the away kit launch.

Adidas = very poor quality!!!!
Wilder out!!!!

At what point will they stop just giving you a shirt from behind the counter rather than one you've picked up off of the rack yourself?

Despite taking mine back and asking for my money back, I do want the shirt as it looks great but there's no way I'm paying £40 to go pot luck and end up with something that looks like a factory reject, I want to be able to look at them first and find one that actually looks acceptable.

Why don't you just refuse the one in the bag and demand the one in your hand.. or... keep opening the bags until you get the right one.

The 7-8 size needs complaining about. They're shocking.

Looks like the shirts cost about a fiver to make with about half of that being labour costs, very poor from Adidas if they can't get the stripes even. The small child's kit looks ridiculous too. Sorry but at £45 the shirt needs to be spot on before they get my money ....................... that is if they ever get any my size.

Yeh I'll do that and if I do find a decent one and they don't let me have it then I'll just walk away.

Agree about those 7-8 ones, they're terrible.

Seems to be a very poor effort from Adidas this year.

As said, why not take this up in the shop? Explain the issue. Tell them you want to buy the item that you have picked off the shelf. I would have thought it's fairly easy to resolve.

I explained the issue when I took mine back and they just said "it just depends on the size of the shirt, the bigger they are the more stripes they have", which is correct, but still doesn't mean it's acceptable for the stripes to be off centre.

I couldn't be arsed to stand there for ages making them open shirt after shirt to find a decent one. I just thought I'd leave it and try and buy one of the rack at a later date.

Think I'll be passing on this shirt to be honest

Saving my money for the glory of the purple away shirt
Me too. Really liked the Madrid shirt in the Champs League final. Not getting my hopes up though. If they don't match the crest to the shirt and if the DoorDeals logo isn't just white (or preferably not there at all) then it will be ruined!

I'm hoping they utilise the white badge that they're using on the casual wear.
Purple shirt. White badge. White sponsor.

It's on all the training gear so maybe??

As I've said before I think the badge has to remain in its original form. Always hated when clubs do the badge to match the shirt - it's not the badge! Each to their own!

The most famous logos have their original colours but are instantly recognisable in other colours e.g. Coca-Cola. Madrid change their badge to match their away shirt colour. It's still instantly recognisable as Real Madrid though. We can do the same with ours as it's such a great logo. I've got some of the new black training shorts with the white logo I think it looks great. It's still clearly Sheffield United. The pigs couldn't do this with their tat! But yes each to their own I know some people don't like the colours changing. We did do it with the gold and purple shirt years ago. The badge was gold and purple. I thought that looked good even if you didn't like the shirt!
