Better than last season. It would have been better for me if we'd had red n white stripes down the sides as opposed to solid black, but I prefer black to solid red. As others have said, what's the back of the shirt like? I wonder if they've not shown the back because it is solid? Personally, at an early glance it looks classier than the Macron one a few seasons back although I preferred the design of the Macron one.

Don't normally get excited about kits but I like this new kit a lot.

Well done United, seems most people like it.

Stripes. Well...at least a bit!

I agree SteveBlade , it's a pretty tacky sponsor.

However it still pisses all over 'Mr Tom' and 'ChupaChups'.

It could be worse.

Imagine if we copy them lot in S6 and put "MC CABE" on the front.
It'd cause a riot ha ha.
Having the name of the owner on the shirt is such a vanity project / dictatorial thing.

Nice kit but thought the Teletext holidays was a joke!

So we don't release an end of season Dvd, cos 'no one buys them anymore',
Then our shirt is sponsored by somat that died out last century o_O
Who's sponsoring the away shirt, Spangles or Bradleys records?

Be an even bigger riot if we put "Abdullah bin Musa'ad bin Abdul Aziz" on the shirt.

That's a reight good kit. I loved last season's, obviously it will be iconic because of the title win, but it was a good kit anyway. All I wanted on that was the thin black stripes, and now we have them! It's hard to be unique with a kit that loads of other teams have, but that is a great effort at individuality. Can't wait to see Billy kiss the (embroidered, surely) badge on that after completing a hatrick at the sty.

Promoted once in white socks. Relegated 5 times in white socks. Languished in League 1 for 4 years with White socks. Changed to red, that didn't work. Went to black and hey presto!
Depends on how you define success and how long you've been watching United. If you can ever expand the definition of success to playing in the top division, it's somewhat different.

64 - 75 we were in white socks for every season except one. I can promise you some of the best sides we've ever had played in that era. OK, one relegation from the top tier during that time and it all started to go horribly wrong after the relegation of 75-76 (76 - 81 was all in white socks as well)

It's a great shame that some of our younger supporters have had to put up with a lot of lower league football since 1976 as we all have had to.

But older supporters will remember the great sides of the sixties and seventies that were dining at the top table ........... in white socks.

That's why we associate with them.

If only there were a thread somewhere with suggestions of how to remove the ironed on sponsors logo.
I removed the "Visit Malta" from my Macron shirt with isopropyl. Turned the shirt inside out applied the isopropyl dropwise to the back of the transfer, allowing it to absorb into the material. The transfer started to bubble up and then I carefully peeled it off. Needed to repeat it to get rid of remnants.

In fairness, Teletext holidays is purely a continuation of the old company based on....teletext. It's now just like your First CHoice, Thomas Cook in that it has a fab website where I guess all of it's trade is done upon.

They even advertise on t'tele.

Not quite as archaic as you'd believe.

White socks do look much better. I just hadn't realised the number of relegation's we'd had in them.

At first glance, not as good as last year.

On closer inspection, love it! Shame we haven't got white socks with it but never mind. Love the thin black stripes either side of the red and white stripes.
