Sat in a pub near ground, fans seem pretty friendly, good bit of banter. Had horrid coach journey, fill you all in later!
 
I'm jealous. I've been out of work for ages and had the time (but not the money) to go to games and now I have the money but no time as I don't finish work until 6pm. I'm sat in Ipswich County Library waiting for 6.55pm to come round so I can get the bus home. :(
 
It would top off a good day if we won at Arsenal.

Nothing to be ashamed of

The team they have out is full of class, no matter how old they are or whether they are not first team at the moment

Majority of them will be playing at the top flight for the next 10 - 15 years

It would be interesting to find out how much it costs to have some of the best youngsters in the world AND keep them happy.

Wenger has got it tied up though and puts all the other "big" clubs way behind.

We are light years away from such a set up i'm afraid.
 
second successive season we have been taught a lesson in footballing by a very very good young arsenal team.

Don't know about anyone else but I'm not dissappinted by this. Didn't expect a win and when I heard about the youngsters we would be playing I was pretty much sure we wouldn't get one
 
Did worse this time than we did last time.

I am abit disappointed I expected a loss but not by this much.

Takes the p**s just abit especially to say we did field our 1st team.
 
Everyone at Arsenal probably wonders why we even bothered to turn up, well they can go and enjoy their "glorious triumph" like they won the title, but that doesn't change the fact they have their heads stuck up their arses badly. I'm not giving them any credit, they get enough sucking up as it is, why should I give them more?

Because if they were better Jonny you should concede and admit it.

Take a defeat without abuse both outwards and inwards.

It's called humility.

Quite honestly, not suprised we lost - we were shocking. They totally out-classed us. We were awful. Simple as
 
Goal 1 Excellent finish from distance.
Goal 2 Naysmith player Bentenar (sp) onside.
Goal 3 Good pass pure pace good finish.
Goal 4 Could have (But not sure from camera angle) been handball to control the ball but defence left a big gap for Vela to run into and he made Kenny look a right fool.
Goal 5 Powerful finish from distance, Kenny didn't seem to see it till late.
Goal 6 Good pass again, Vela too much time and space went under Kenny's arms but the power carried it over the line easily.

From what i've just seen anyway.
Not sure about the rest of the performace.

Move on, no cup run this year, Watford next :)
 
kiiiiiin hell! :D Still, not like it wasn't expected eh? Maybe not to that magnitude but no-one could have expected us to do anything against that lot - I'd give my right nacker for some of those players!!

Bet some people don't see it that way though.......tomorrow should be a fun day from some blades :rolleyes:

Spot on, you have to accept Arsenal are streets ahead of us, having said that we surely can manage better than that. Let's hope we learn from it.
