After a trip to Manchester, then a look round Ewood Park, the Sheff-Utd.co.uk staff have arrived at Burnley for the first away day of the season.

Enjoyed some glorious sunshine, but its just starting to go overcast and dark. We are sat at the cricket ground behind the away end enjoying a pint of Carling and watching kids in a crowded match.

More info will be posted nearer kickoff.

Andy Gray reportedly out of the squad.

1-2

Well, we're on the way home and it's two wins out of two.
Written by Linz:

The first half demonstrated what we were missing on Saturday. Good passing play with extended periods of possession and pressure. Webber and Shipperley linked up well. Ifill was quiet but consistant. Kenny and the back four were actually talking to each other. Shipperley's goal was a near post knock in and Webber's was the result of a goal mouth scramble.

The second half was worrying to say the least. United did their old trick of sitting back on their lead, allowing Burnley to come back at them, thus resulting in Akinbiatch's goal. A few Blades fans nails were nibbled as the tension grew.

Just a note on the atmosphere: bloody brilliant. 15 minute spells of constant singing. Well done to everyone who was there.

Better go now... the traffic's moving and we need the GPS.

UTB.

You'll be pleased to know we are safe and well at home :)

We're exploring ways to keep you up to date on Saturday when we go to QPR. Pictures might be uploaded remotely from the Smoke so keep your eyes peeled.

Busted.

Haha, I was about to say that you've gone to the wrong small Lancashire town beginning with 'B' till I saw the date.

Things were so much more homely in those days weren't they? I love the 'Give us three rings when you get home' touch from Linz. ;)

Rumbled, 12 years ago I had a pint of Carling :)

In my defence, they had sod all else on at the cricket club :p
If you really had no other choice, the. I reluctantly forgive you. But it must never happen again.

What, going to a cricket club!!!???;)
