Heard a few at Chesterfield try to get it started and hoped it had died a death but seen a few posting (Facebook/ Twitter etc) that Ched song over last few days. FFS Stop it please. After an amazing 6months or so it makes me feel a little embarrassed to be a United fan. We're better than that... and it's really scumbag.

Not sure that anything can be done about it.

There's probably 1% scum supporters at every club.
So of the 30,000 Blades in attendance against Chesterfield it means there was about 300 scummy low lives in attendance.

Although to be fair some are just young lads with no life experience or awareness.
To them the Ched episode is just one big laugh.

I've seen a couple of different Ched songs going around.

Lets just say I hope common sense prevails.

I think the half a dozen fuckwits trying to get it going will soon get the message.

Why they'd sing about a period of life that Ched Evans would obviously rather forget is beyond me, but I guess the same could be said about Samir Carruthers

Do the thick twats really believe Ched will be glowing with pride when they sing about the darkest period of his entire life?

No. They don't think. They're kids and they know very little because they've not learnt much yet. They probably see it as rebellious.
Most of them will look back in twenty years time and be embarrassed by their behaviour. Others will continue to be crass fuckwitted twats all their lives. (And probably end up sat behind you shouting 'tha's fucking shit, gerrit int box).

What are the songs then?

If I were Ched Evans or members of his family. The very last thing I'd want is to be reminded every weekend of the events that led to 5 years of hell, 2 and a half of which were in prison.

I'd imagine Ched wants to move on and forget it all. I hope some of our more moronic fans can do the same

While we're on the subject I've noticed quite a lot of fans visit pubs before the game, and often come into the ground smelling of drink and sometimes the worse for wear. It would be good if this could stop too. Getting inebriated in public places is not big or clever
I better change my pre match schedule for next season then!!. Ah well it's back to the cup of tea and a sandwich( prawn sandwiches of course). .

If the Internet was around in the 70s how many threads would there be like 'can you stop throwing darts at my head'?

Or threads from the faint hearted that some of our hooligans were glorifying killing serving police officers, how many of us joined in that ditty, not having the faintest idea who Harry Roberts was,I know I was one

Strange how a few of those who are keen to point out he isn't guilty, and more pertinently were shouting he wasn't guilty even when convicted, are the same ones singing he'll shag who he wants etc.

I think most of us at football like banter and rude songs but it's not just the cringeworthiness, like others have said, let's do Ched a favour and just sing his name or about his on the pitch prowess.

I know it's likely to fall on deaf ears with some. Jeez I even had teenage girls in front of me at one away game a few years ago singing 'he'll rape who he wants'. There's no hope with a small minority.

I didn't hear any Ched songs at the Chesterfield game (on the Kop). I was expecting loads of them, given he'd just signed for us again, but nothing happened.

Perhaps because the vast majority of our fans are intelligent human beings with a sense of what is appropriate and what isn't.
Would those same people be sensitive and offended if we created some for them and pointed the finger during games?Devil's advocate and all that.

In stark contrast I was checking out the S6 site and failed to find one single intelligent debate. It is awash with ego driven one liners that does them little justice in the critical thinking department. Let's keep it that way right the way through our wonderful club.
