Help Me Settle An Argument

He thinks he has just played at fullback/wingback for us. I calmly told him to fuck off and a couple of hours later we finally agreed to disagree.

Anyhoo, am I right or will I have to think up another suitable defence in my upcoming trial?

Yeah that's right. NC brought him on a couple of times on the right side of midfield in front of Brayford at right back.

By the way....I can also point out that as a youth Freeman also played wing for Forest. That from one of the Physio's who was at Forest when he was there.

Also said he's a smashing lad, who was always a top player and stood out back then, and worked very hard in the process.

It could be worth a shout, as good as Freeman is he's not that brilliant defensively and he'll be playing a league higher next season so who knows.

Played really well.
I think people wish to fix people to positions too much.
There is far more to Freeman than most think.

I've suggested on other threads that if we played a 4-5-1 with the current squad, I'd play Lafferty as an orthodox LB with Freeman wide right mid (and supporting the forward) with Brayford playing at RB.

I remember him coming off the bench in the 70th minute , with us 2-0 down, all the fans booed thinking why would he bring him on as a midfielder and we drew 2-2. What a sub that was

He played right midfield in a 2-2 draw at home to Coventry in the 2014-15 season under Clough. Think that's the game Matthew the blade is referring to.

Yes. When we drew 0-0 at home to Brentford towards the end of the 13-14 season when he got sent off then the ref corrected his decision and brought him back on. He played LB a few times that season with Harris and Hill suffering injuries (both got injured in the same game at Preston).

Slightly off-topic; my Pop always claimed Brayford would make a decent CM (or at least wouldn't do any worse than the others) during Madkins' season. I see Clough played him there a couple of times this season.
