The Wednesay fan has never seen Ched play and hopes United struggle next season so take any advice with a pick piece of cynicism. He said he was neutral, yeh very funny.

A good example is the Forestieri situation. He refused to play for Wednesday and wanted away.
Logic says he should never play for SW again. He's disrespected SWFC and likely to destroy team spirit in the dressing room, no player is bigger than the club etc.
However surprise.....surprise...because he's their best player then their morals go out of the window.
Almost every Wednesday fan was prepared to give him a second chance.
Like they were prepared to continuously forgive Madine for his violent nights out.

In reality clubs and fans turn a blind eye to poor morals if it improves the chance of success.

I've just listened to the last caller who is an American Pig fan. Makes some reasonable points but is clearly biased with comments like "nothing surprises me with them lot"?

However, I'll go against what some will probably say and give credit to Mark the Pitsmoor Pig. I actually quite like he guy. He gave us praise for going up and didn't give his opinion over Ched, so fair play.

So the Donny Rovers Special goes ahead as planned: "to celebrate a wonderful season..."

Just turned it off, it sounds like a good show for Donny fans, but I have to wonder was last nights special "pulled" by united because they knew that the story was being broken on Evans ?? Turned out to be a regular show, tonight's is an organised show with an audience and everything...

I'm guessing a similar type of show was lined up with united fans and players "etc" ..... have radio sheff shit on their own cornflakes as far as united are concerned...

Looks like they went down to the Lane yesterday afternoon and agreed to cancelled our 'promotion special' United win the League by a mile, breaking loads of club records on the way and because of a Radio Sheffield's reporters mistake (or was it a total disrespect for our club) then United decided not to attend.

In my opinion IF IT WAS NOT someone from united who leaked the info on ched then I think Radio Sheffield should bow their heads in shame. Just watch out for the piggies promotion special if they make it?

If I was United I would tell them to stay away from the Lane on Sunday!

I don't get the star anymore, I don't listen to Radio Sheffield anymore and I don't go on piggy forums and never have.

I feel as great as ever!

If radio sheffield were the journalists they claim to be they would have had a pair of balls between them and broke it at say 6:30 midshow last night to wilders face. Cowards

Just to reiterate, any fucker who disrespects our club in any shape or form can fuck right off no matter what their poxy little pathetic excuse of a journalistic matter it is.

I always knew radio Sheffield were biased snort beasts but the leak is a new low for them!!. We should just tell them to fuck off and to stay away from bdtbl!!. Even my mates in Sheffield no longer listen to radio snort beast!(Sheffield) and haven't done in a while due to their bias!.

At about 6.45pm on the Donnie special Andy Giddings said that it was agreed by SUFC and RS not to hold the special programme last night because it would all be focussed on Ched Evans. Apparently this was agreed amicably. He made reference to conspiracy theories not being true.

He said another one would be arranged at a later date.

He also said there wasn't a date set for when it was, strange to leave that open

Could head a ball, but two left feet, and that is when £100k was a lot of money.

We don't need them.

Sorry but I'm struggling to understand this animosity towards Radio Sheffield. The journalist who broke the story was only doing their job. After all, reporters aren't fans or club PR. If they're given a story as significant as this (and it checked out) it would be surprising if they didn't run it.

Not only do I enjoy listening to Radio Sheffield, I'd say we're spoilt rotten by them. There aren't many other local BBC stations that have dedicated football phone-ins every night. They're also good on social media and I used to really appreciate the full length interviews they added to audioboo (which now go straight on the BBC website) after the game. Living out of the area I'd be lost without them.

There's no animosity from me towards them and I don't hate them, I just don't like the sly digs they have at our club which admittedly only comes from info on here and my time of listening to it some time ago.

I respect your view living out of the area and can fully understand anyone who wants to defend them. For me personally though, I just don't like the station hence I don't listen to it but each to their own I suppose.

It's funny because the pigs make exactly the same accusations about it being biased against them and pro-United.

At end of the day, it's a news organisation and it's going to report the news whether it suits United or not, if you're going to cry about it, stick to the official site.
