Personally I'll have done my celebrating at the games already and might not attend but if the club wants to celebrate our first trophy in years then do it however we want.

We are in this division because we haven't been good enough to get out of it. Now we are & we have people saying it's tinpot to have a celebration!!!

You can only win the league you're in.......... I bet people will moan if we win the Championship because they believe we should already be in the prem.

It's been a refreshing change, this season, to attend games without receiving the SUFC special ... every fucking week. My hair has never been, er fresher or more hygenic.

Oh, and factoid fans who have the remotest interest in my own personal history with the club (at a rough estimate, no-one) may note that when I first took my lads to the Lane, aged very little and even littler, we sat at the kop end of John Street directly underneath a pigeon nest in the roof above. I was--quite literally, Jeff--shat on from a reasonable height more than once during those years.

We won the league at a canter after giving the rest a head start.
We became only the fourth club in history to win all four divisions, the first Yorkshire club to do so and the first club in the new millenium to do so.
I think those merit an open top bus!

Why on earth would a team that had a parade for finishing 2nd in this league, “have a field day” about us having one for being runaway champions? And if they do, that just proves them to be the thickest set of cunts in the country. And who gives a fuck what them scruffy bastards have got to say about it anyway? We’re Sheffield United. We’ve just won a league (ok, a fairly poor league) more comprehensively than any other team in the country. Being in this league in the first place was poor but the lads who have played this season can only beat what’s in front of them and they really have done it in style. They deserve the kudos. They didn’t sneak up because a rival had a player wrongly imprisoned, playing hoofball and relying on loans for their only creative spark. They did it by being far, far better than the rest of the teams in the league. All this whilst being led by the bladiest of blades and a fantastic manager, without the need to sack said manager mid-season for a new manager bounce to get them over the line.

Maybe your tender years have missed the importance of ritual, probably something they never taught at cool school. Worrying about the opinions of wendy or whoever comes to mind seems a little neurotic fella, let the players have their moment......tell you what, we'll compromise on this one, we'll have the bus but make sure the windows are blacked out, deal?

And a final bit of advice, if you feel a twinge of embarrassment, then don't attend the celebration, stay at home and replay your vids of the Blades tearing through this Division, that way you can live out your fantasy of what's cool, ok dude? UTMB!
