A bit vague but I'm sure at £50 for 1000 ballons we could afford a shedload and also a load of confetti etc. It'll look good at the time and in years to come looking back on pictures that's why I wanted to do something.

If you fill a balloon with pure hydrogen and set it alight, the resulting explosion creates an impressive temporary flare. More environmentally friendly than conventional pyrotechnics too.

So that's something to think about...

.....while you are queuing in the Burns Unit waiting for your hands to be stitched back on.

I know what your saying, people tend to not end up being arsed to do things like this though and after Wembley 93 and other experiences balloons and confetti does look good for when the teams come out. Just thought I'd get something set up, I've emailed the club and await a response, hopefully the club have something similar already in mind.

I think it’s a good idea mate. Depending on the outcome of your plan, an alternative might just be to spread the word on here, facebook, twitter, maybe football heaven etc. to tell people to bring balloons and confetti. That would reach a fair number of people and ensure a decent amount of decoration.
