Yes, that's right I'm not going to the game today. Instead I'm going to L#@ds for some pre-drinks before seeing Peter Hook and the Light at the O2.
I've had the ticket for ages and I'm going with a couple of old mates. One of which I've not seen for 23 years.
It's been a tough choice because I really want to go to the game but that's testament to the turnaround that Wilder has masterminded. I actually crave going to the game again. In the last few seasons I would have had a tough choice if I'd been invited out for a drink with David Hirst, Chris Waddle and Carlton Palmer over the Blades game. Not anymore, thanks Chris for giving us our club back and I hope you all enjoy the game later.

I feel your pain, I decided not to get a season ticket this season (nothing to do with wilder) I thought I'd fell out with it all and was generally depressed with being a Blade, I thought a change was needed (but I still had to go to the first few games to test the water) now here I am touching the end of the season and I've only missed one match due to a wedding although today's not looking because of non payment from work. The buzz has been back for a few month now and I can't believe I contemplated giving it all up !
