You probably know this but The Who were managed by Bill Curbishley, Alan's brother. Not that I have a soft spot for any team (unless like Reading this very day, they are Pork slayers) but Charlton are one of my "least disliked".
Saw The Who at the old Valley a hundred or so years ago so do have a soft spot for their ground.

A little surprised that one of them highlighted Duffy as our dangerman. Not even sure he'll play and whilst he's had some good/ excellent spells when I've seen him, he seems to have a tendency to go missing in games. Perhaps more down to positioning.
As for danger men, Sharp, Freeman, Fleck all come to mind before Duffy, but it also shows that we have a lot of very good players
What's the betting that tomorrow's game is full of controversy and our fans end up hating each other

Because our lass won't let me.If you all love Charlton so much why don't you just marry them...

Duffy's best performance for us was at Charlton. My Addicks mate said he was so relieved when he got subbedA little surprised that one of them highlighted Duffy as our dangerman. To be fair to them, they are "sandwiched" between the two most obnoxious clubs in English football.I was in The Sheaf View after the Q/F win in 2014, the Charlton fans who came in shook our hands and congratulated us - thoroughly decent bunch
Me neither, one of the friendliest set of fans I've come across.Win draw or lose, I've never had a bad day out at Charlton. Nice club with nice fans.
But they're nowhere near pigs or Leeds??To be fair to them, they are "sandwiched" between the two most obnoxious clubs in English football.
Not many bookies giving odds on such a complicated and subjective bet. What's the betting that tomorrow's game is full of controversy and our fans end up hating each other
Some mad bastard called Moon at the back gave everything a good thrashing. Entwistle played a steady foundation role down the right. Townsend jumped higher than anyone and got booked for swearing. But they had a long blonde-haired geezer called Daltrey up front who could really belt it when necessary. They still hold the record for the loudest performance ever , at Charlton , in May 1976. The long hot summer of my 18th year. What formation did he play them in?
