Frank Sinatra once told me there's a bar in far Bombay, if that helps?

Mind you, the locals were so ungrateful for ol' Blue Eyes acknowledgment, they changed the name of the place where they lived after that.

..... Varanasi, India, that will be showing the Oldham game? :)
Anyone that shows Ten Sports (the channel not the nunber of different sports shown as someone will no doubt say followed by a 100 page thread on guessing which are the 10 sports :) )

If the PNU Sports club is still open, near the Railway station, try there, if not, ask your hotel front desk to find you somewhere

Not too many bars in Varanasi with it being a holy city. There are cows everywhere though. There are also loads of corpses on the mud banks on the other side of the Ganges, a boatman will take you over for a few rupees.

As for the game, I'd get out of the old city. If you have the link, I'm sure someone will plug a computer into a tv for you and set you up with a bottle of Kingfisher - for a few rupees.

Ten sports and Star sports are your best bet. We watched the televised game v Coventry at 1.45am in our hotel room. The scream when we scored may have been misconstrued. :)

Change of plans, I'm going to be reliving days of empire in Darjeeling instead.

So, anyone know a bar in Darjeeling....? :)

No but if you're going by train, take a good book as the journey takes a while. And if you want to stretch your legs, you can jump off and jog along beside it.

I see you're moving around, I read that there are 6 million wandering Holy men in India, you don't just eat Yogourt and have 70inch nails do you ? Hang on, where's Gazza Glitter these days ?

Trains are all booked up, so we'll be going from NJP by jeep
