As a reminder, here are the teams realistically in serious trouble (discounting Rotherham)

Wigan, Bristol City, Blackburn, Forest, Burton, Wolves, Birmingham City

If we go up we'll want the weakest clubs to stay up which will put us in a more competitive position next year, in my opinion:

Wigan, Bristol City and Burton are those most likely not to push on should they survive this year. If we don't go up we'll want those same teams relegated as they'll find it more tricky to bounce straight back up.

Of course we'd love Forest to go down (and would be funny if Birmingham did as well XD ) , we need fear no-one but it is an interesting side glance at the league above and what might happen.

I don't want Forest to go down this season as I'd like to beat them twice next season (providing we go up) and contribute towards their relegation next season.

Forest and Birmingham would be amusing, especially as a reminder to young Che that the grass is often greener. The cocky twat has proved nothing, so perhaps someone of maturity should tell the young 'un to keep his thoughts to himself. As far as SUFC is concerned he's burnt his bridges.....but back to who goes down, Wolves would be welcome but as things stand, unlikely. So maybe our former manager's team of triers might make up the trio of relegated teams.

He's banged in 4 goals to be fair.

I would add Blackburn to your three other "won't be up there" list, so I'd like them to survive as well. That leaves Forest, Wolves and Birmingham to provide my best two. However, that is presuming the fuck wits running Brum realise their error and out Zola at the end of the season. If they don't I'd happily have them there to compete against.

On a similar vein I would like to see Hull, MBoro and Sunderland drop into the Championship.

This all changes should we fail to get promoted but if that's the case I will be so traumatised I won't be able to find a way onto the internet to express any alternatives!

Think Wilder and SUFC were the beneficiaries of Che's transfer to Birmingham, don't you? That transfer money has obviously been put to far better use than retaining Che's services and paying his wages. We have a fullback who's scored more than Adams, food for thought I think.

Living in East Yorkshire I am looking forward to playing Hull City next year. I have had too many years of their plastic part time (ex leeds united supporting) fans crowing. Hopefully the footballing order is about to be re balanced. It is a local game for me and I look forward to real fans showing the KC Part timers what real support looks like.

I would like Forest to stay up, it has always been a good away trip and I have a close work colleague who is a big forest fan, so I am looking forward to a wager on who will finish higher, as well as taking 6 points off them!

I would love to see Brum go down. Another plastic team who think they are bigger than reality, seeing their ridiculous owners and Che in the first division would be quite amusing.

And finally for me, Toytown. I cannot stand their smug ungracious bitter fans. They have short memories forgetting the loans that Warnock made and the bucket collections, I will reflect back all the joy they took in our relegation when it happens to them.

I don't really mind who will be in the Championship, we can only play the teams in front of us, I want it to be a measure of how far Chris and the team have taken us, not an easy ride against the weakest possible opposition.

COME ON YOU RED AND WHITE WIZAAAAAAAAAARDS!

To be fair, 4 goals ain't bad compared to our strikers (excluding Billy of course)

Trouble with comparisons is that we don't have any forwards who were bought for the tidy sum of £2 million, which is the price that Birmingham paid (or close to it) for young Adams. Expectations should be high for a supposed 'marquee' signing, and Birmingham must feel that in Adams they've bought a player who is a long way from the finished article.

Stupidly, probably, I have a thing for Ewood Park. So hopefully not Blackburn.

Wigan ? Horrible ground, inland pier, 3rd division more like their "natural" level.

Forest ? For personal reasons, relegation would be hilarious.

Those are my two, Jeff :)

I would chuckle if Forest and Brum joined Rotherham in League one, I do think it will be Wigan and one other though.

I want Burton to go down... They are on my relegation accumulator with Sunderland and Port Vale :)

Shame they can't all go down, I don't like any of them.
Forest, Wolves and Birmingham in particular because watching their fans suffer would make me a very happy bunny. Plus I'd get to see that jug-eared cunt fail at Birmingham.

Millers and Wigan will go down. I'd like to see the reaction of EEL if Wolves went down. I wonder if he'd be so loyal as to honour his contract he signed and play league one football again next season

Millers down so in addition would like to see:

Blackburn - no club should be run so badly for so long without consequences. Oh and I always found a large portion of their fanbase to be utter bellends.

Brum - so many reasons.
The arrogance of owners who sack a manager who got them to the top 6 on a pittance because they wanted a more comercially recognisable figure at the helm, that went well!

Che - would piss myself if he is in lg1 again next season after all the billy big cojones when he left.

The fact that they only avoided the drop by the skin of their teeth a few years back. Dickov's management of Donny that day was worthy of a match fixing investigation. 1-0 down, moments to go, need a goal? Why not take off a striker and bring on a defender....okaaay!

I'd add Ipswich to that list as as every Town fan will tell you they really are shite this year.

Out of that list, I wouldn't be too upset to have Birmingham, Wolves, Forest or Blackburn out of contention for next season's push for the playoffs.

Bristol City won this evening, which pushes Florist into real trouble only one point and one place outside the relegation zone. I imagine Warburton will just about keep them safe, but would be truly hilarious if we swapped places XD

After a few years in this division I'm looking forward to mostly big games next season, even if our traditional and former promotion rivals in that league make for tougher competition than the small clubs.

I'd rather be playing Forest, Wolves and Birmingham than Burton and Fleetwood.

I'd like to see 8 Yorkshire clubs in the Championship, so if Bratfud City could buck up...

I didn't realise the porcine ones were playing this evening until I looked for the Bristol result. :)

It's quite busy here in Vanuatu

Wigan, so we can poach one or two of their players. And because they're a nothing club, and you can never have too few of those.

Then Burton. It would give me great pleasure to see FLN relegated. And maybe we could get Jackson Irvine.

I'm not concerned about any teams who might be able to have better seasons next time. We won't be anywhere near relegation so we don't have to worry about them.

Wolves - For the Cardiff Fiasco.
Birmingham - For no other reason i fuckin hate them with a passion.
Forest - As when we fell through the trap door. Badly run club - need to rebuild.

Would let them have a few derbies in the first division.

Surely the defining question for this decision is.. do you get more satisfaction from said team being in the league below?
Or beating them at the Lane/their place and rubbing their noses in it?

Based on this i would want Forest to stay up. The potential for thumping them and getting to witness their sad little faces after the game is just too good to miss

Out of those listed, Blackburn, Wigan and Burton need to stay up. They're all going nowhere, not in an upwards direction anyway.

Wolves if managed right could get promoted. The foundations are also there at Birmingham and Forest.

Bristol City could surprise you, ambitious club with a big new stand, will finish mid table next season if they stay up.

Obviously Rotherham are gone, of those there I would hope Wolves and Birmingham go. However, I feel that Blackburn will take one spot with either Wigan or Burton
