Most angry a Blades match has made you

When I had a bag on my back at the turnstiles, the steward asked me what was in it - and I, drunk - said, 'semtex' and was refused entry.

The more galling because next time I had a bag with me, the steward said "what have you got in there, a bomb?"

needless to say, I just had some shopping and a jacket in the bag, I suppose I could get rid of the ISIS bandana that I wear round my head though next time?

West ham away in our last premier league season, every challenge resulted in a free kick to them and to cap it all late on with them winning 1-0 their goalie collided with his own defender and one of our lot then put it in the net but somehow we had fouled an invisible player. Even MOTD said disallowing the goal was unexplainable. Some might say the ref had been "befriended" by some before the match.

Six years ago today, the utterly pathetic 3-0 capitulation at Watford. No talent, no discipline with two reds and no heart.

It was looking bad at that point anyway, but we may as well have been confirmed as relegated that day, it was a shameful non-performance from too many players truly unfit to wear the shirt.

Exactly how I remember it. Also, feeling aghast and ashamed as our "great fans" hurled vicious, vile abuse at a Watford player being carted off on a stretcher wearing an oxygen mask. Darius fucking Henderson's lowest point, among many lows. Oh, and some pissed up knobhead behind me slashing all over my coat.

Twat.

Most angry for me was probably Scunthorpe at home, last game of last season.

I was so annoyed at our lack of fight and the number of mercenaries we had in the team - players like Woolford, Hammond, Baxter and Sammon.

The transformation since that game is nothing short of a miracle, so huge credit to Wilder and Knill.

Scunthorpe away When we were relegated from the Championship.

We had 3 games in a row against relegation rivals and lost them all, including being 0-2 against them lot and losing 3-2.

I knew we were down then.

A lot of recent displays in this lot here's a few from me .
Boxing Day .
Cambridge away , first relegation for me .
Walsall :mad::mad:.
Wolves playoff defeat .
Uddersfield playoff defeat .
QPR at home uncle Colin's return .
Any defeat by the pigs .
Due to kids , bills etc etc not seen some of the piss poor games some have mentioned here .
But I can empathise with your pain fellow Blades .:(

The 2-1.home defeat to Swindon in the playoffs in 2015. The worst refereeing performance ever, Darren Bond being the culprit

Please can someone tell me why a blatant pen for us was not awarded at 00.30?

Why he gave them a pen for a blatant dive at 1:30?

And perhaps most mystifying of all - why he disallowed Done's goal at 3:00? All that had happened was Done's marker fell over.

Given that the tie was settled by a single goal, there were some very important decisions made that day

Bury away last season. I know it's been done to death but I'm normally relatively calm at matches but Adkins persona and the players hiding just rattle my cage like never before... it's fair to say the players and Adkins alike were left by the majority of blades knowing exactly how we felt

This. This tops it for me. As they started to come towards us after the final whistle the vitriol was probably the worst I'd heard. Certainly the most deserved. Even a coked up Baxter laid into them.

Another vote for the play-off final v Wolves. To go 3-nil down before half-time was just soul-destroying.

Water under the bridge and all that. Good times ahead now, right Reece? :)

Not to mention getting home just in time for the exit polls telling us that the Tories were going to win the General Election. A double whammy to beat them all.

Two recent ones spring to mind...

Cloughs second season, Losing two nil at Gillingham ending any remote possibility of getting autos and Clough saying "we will keep plodding on"

Also last season losing 3-1 at Southend on Live TV and Adkins saying it was "a good performance from us"

I was there, I was that soldier.

I hope we help relegate them on Tuesday.

Adams also had a perfectly good goal disallowed for 6-5 (agg 7-7) in the second leg.

I tell myself that without these unbelievable we probably wouldn't have Tufty.

The game that made me the most angry was the 1-0 home defeat to MK Plastics a couple of seasons ago under Clough. But it wasn't the Blades performance that made me angry, it was the blatant cynicism of our opponents and the failure of the ref to do anything about it. I still remember the dirty f*cker, Carl Baker, running round kicking anything that moved, culminating in one horrific leg breaking challenge on Bob Harris. I don't think he even got booked for it.

Can I mention the 3 - 2 away defeat to Scunthorpe, February 2011.

Badly in need of the points. 2 - 0 up inside the first 10 minutes only to capitulate and lose three goals.

New we would be relegated then. Micky Adams.

Scunthorpe away in the relegation season; 2-0 and cruising after 10 minutes thanks to Evans and Cresswell and then the most inept 80 minutes I have ever seen from an SUFC team to end up losing 3-2. And - once the game ended - two of the buggers (Collins and Doyle) came over to applaud the 3000 United fans who were there to support them. They might have been crap for much of their time at BL but I never forgot that it was Collins and Doyle that had the guts to come over and take the abuse. The rest of them legged it down the tunnel as fast as they could, spineless fuckers.

Bury away last season and the afore-mentioned Robson game at Hillsborough also run it close.
I thought I'd put that one to bed but I'm going to have nightmares all over again tonight

Wednesday at home in the ched season. 2-0 up and then a questionable foul and a goal gets them back in the game. Madine then clatters Simonsen and the goal stands for 2-2. Anger beyond words.

it strange because i dont normally get angry Shrewsbury 5-2, Southend 3-0 & Burton 0-0, were more disappointment & despondent,

but probably 4 i can remember Hartlepool in jpt the game away fans start sacked in morning & we joined in. Then madine's rugby tackling equaliser at the last sheff derby at bramall lane. Rotherham away we lost 3-1 under weir. players came over to clap us but in no uncertain terms they were told to **** off by the entire away end. But main one was Oldham 2012 as that game certaintly boiled over with all shenanigans that happened, as when kuqi scored in 7th minute of 4 added & i was livid ready to grab the referee by throat

I couldn't go that day and I was driving, listening to the scores on the radio. I nearly went off the road when they equalised.

That goal gave them a point and cost us 2 points.

Ultimately, that single goal promoted them instead of us.

You are right, that is the worst match ever, in fact it is the worst goal ever, because it resulted in a season long tragedy for us and triumph for them.

I now feel sick and need another can of Hen!

I was furious most weeks under Clough. When we are absolutely crap like under Weir and Adkins I just get a bit sad. There isn't really any anger because those teams just sucked the life out of you. When Clough was in charge though there was so much hope. We'd go from nearly beating Spurs to losing at MK Dons the week after. So annoying.

The most angry though was the Wigan game. I pushed a bin over and the lot

Unlike most people on here i was actually more angry at losing to Wednesday at home under Blackwell then when Robson was in charge. We lost that great record of them never having done the double over us for a thousand years simply because Henderson was suspended and Blackwell had no idea how to deviate from the hoof ball. This meant we saw 90 minutes of us lumping the ball up in the air as high as possible to Danny Webber and Arturo Lupoli

Every defeat to MK Dons has made me angry.

Nearly every game in Clough's second season made me angry. In fact Clough made me angry full stop.

Crewe away last season was a good one. I've never let rip so much at the players after a game. But doing so made me feel a lot better. It was the best part of the day.

I'd have thought the Wigan game for sure ..few weeks earlier you'd beaten West Ham 3-0 , Premier League survival looked certain .

Watching United lose 1-2 , and the consequences of that , must have just seemed too unbelievable for words

Swindon's second in the 5-5 play off game. Watching McEveley and Alcock give up thinking the ball was going out only to mark each other whilst the ball was put in the empty net was a piss boiler an half.

Throw in the non penalty we had given against us on the opening day of the season v Liverpool.

I am sure that is the only time I have ever seen a penalty given despite barely any contact being made, the player staying on his feet and getting the shot away then falling down like a sack of shit.

One of many questionable decisions during our Premier League season.

Yeah I decided to go to that game at the last minute and drove down on my own. It felt like our fate had been sealed that day but I thought our fans were fantastic.

0-1 v Walsall 2002: I had travelled a long way to see United make no attempt whatsoever to beat Walsall (who relegated Barnsley as a result of their victory). Typical end of season couldn't-care-less Warnock performance.

1-2 v Boro, 2011: effectively relegated thanks to that miss by Henderson. I was furious.

0-0 v Carlisle, 2013 - Forte and Ironside continue their two man mission to get Wilson fired. I was so disgusted with Forte's performance that I made a point of letting him know about it when he went down the tunnel - and he certainly heard me.

Burnley play off final.

Only time ever I've gone to a game like that believing we would win, only to watch Blackwell show he learned absolutely the square root of fuck all from the two previous games against them that season.

Compounded by the realisation that that was our last chance to get back to the Prem after squandering the parachute money.

Oh yes, this gem of a performance. Everyone who'd seen either game could tell you exactly how Burnley were going to play...except Blackwell, apparently.

The shitty performance from Craig Beattie, the fouls in the area on Walker and Naughton, and the brainlessness showed by Jamie Ward all added to the rage.

I wasn't angry for the other finals. I was bored out of my mind in 1997, stunned in 2003, and resigned to defeat before we'd kicked off in 2012.
