Cork on Sunday . Whatever next Hammond .

Dean Hammond on Talk Sport on Saturday discussing Leicester City and passing comment on Sheffield United . Very complimentary towards the club and Wilder.

Still looking for a club .
That doesn't sound quite right.

You sure it wasn't Alex Hammond?

Had numerous trials offered but was too slow to get to any of them on time.

Its about time he realised it's supposed to be Football he's playing and not Golf!

I'd imagine Hammond's settlement agreement contained a clause that neither party should slag each other off.

Were you sat in the wrong end?
I was living in Devon at the time, and couldn't get a ticket. However an Arsenal fan who had six seats in the Gallery contacted Bramall Lane, and I was there in the ticket office when he called ( i was adding my name to the second chance ticket list), so drove straight down to his house in Harrow and bought 4 tickets. They happened to be on that end of Wembley, he also told me if we won he would sell me two tickets for the final.

All at face value.

by the looks of it me and my old lady were behind you 3 rows from the top / never forget half time , still think if that was played these days wilson would have been off after 10 mins

Luckily for us, our trip home was back to North Devon. I should imagine having to drive up the M1 at the same time as lots of gloating pigs was a nightmare.

ckn horrible day, twaddle got a worldy in first minute, we somehow equalised and took it to extra time...thankful it was only 2-1. It's right down there with boxing day.

What are you on about?

Everybody knows that in 1993 the FA had a trial policy of 'no semi finals' and just drew lots for the final.

There was no Sheffield semi final, we never lost to Wendy and we were not outclassed and saved from complete humiliation by Kelly's brilliance. No, oh no!

We was in the Gallery seats up in the roof, I think it was only six seats deep, all the corporate boxes were behind us. Good views, but would rather have been in with the Blades fans, felt a bit detached up there.
